    Hey all!

I just noticed this weird glitch today.

New products don’t seem to appear on pages that have woocommerce shortcodes on them for some reason.

Not all shortcodes, but some of them. This happens in two particular instances, according to my observations. They are:

    • [sale_products] – Used to display latest “on sale” products. Now, it doesn’t show new entries anymore. It’s stuck on old products, most likely listed via the free plugin.
    • [product_categories] – Used to register the number of products in a category and update the counter every time a new item is added. Now the counter next to the category name no longer keeps track of latest products.

I have no idea when this weird thing first started, but judging from the products that are being displayed by the “on sale” shortcode, I’d say since I started using the Pro plugin.

I’ll provide some screenshots of the phenomenon, if my report isn’t clear enough.

    Thanks! 🙂

No clue! Those are WooCommerce shortcodes, have nothing to do with WC Vendors. 🙂 If you can provide some way to replicate the issue so we can investigate it, that’d be the best.

    Hi Ben,

Actually, the thought of that issue originating from Woocommerce hadn’t crossed my mind at all. I guess it’s because I spend most of the time enjoying your plugin, so I completely let Woocommerce off the hook 🙂 Oops! I feel so stupid now 🙂

You’re right, though. The issue should be on their side. I’ve already sent them a message. Won’t bother you with that again.

    Apologies!
