NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi,

    i still have some doubts regarding the new shipping options. I hope you can clarify.
    We use flat rate. I setup the vendor options and assigned maximum shipping per vendor (no minimum).
    I have a vendor who sells soaps, all the different bars are different simple products.
    The shipping for 1 bar is 6.00, and we want to be able to set $10.00 as the maximum shipping for the vendor.
    How I thought it works is that if a customer buys 1 – he pays 6 of shipping, but if more than one product is bought from this vendor, the maximum shipping will be 10.
    However, the system is ignoring the maximum shipping and is applying the shipping per product. 2 items = 12 shipping, 3 items = 18, and so on.
    I’m not sure if I’m missing some other settings, or if I’m not understanding these new options correctly.
    Also, can I modify these settings per vendor, have a maximum for vendorA be $10, but for vendor B be $15 , etc.

    Hello,
    I sounds like you are understanding the shipping settings properly.
    When you set the shipping (the rate that is being ignored), are you setting this maximum rate on the product level? Or is this rate being set by the vendor in the store settings? (pro dashboard > settings > shipping)

    Yes- the shipping maximum per order can be set by the vendors (or by admin for the vendors). If you as admin wish to set their shipping rates, then you can do so on the user page wp admin > users > vendor-name

    I set the Max-Shipping from the WooCommerce settings -> Vendor Shipping

    I just tested changing it on one of the vendors dashboard and it works if I make the change there.

    Ok, so I just emailed a few vendors so they know they can make the change from their dashboard.
    But as an admin I cannot make the change myself. The max-shipping in woo-commerce->settings is ignored.
    And in wp admin > users > vendor-name there is no max-shipping field, I can set a shipping amount, but not the maximum.
