Hi, i’m really new of this plugin…it a great one and it give us a lot of great possibilities.

I looked for answers in the forum but i cannot find exacltyly what i need
    1) the free version of the plugin does not permit vendros registration directly from the web front end? Because i expected to find a WC vendor account page where, if the user is not logged in can login in o apply for a vendor registration…. but i think this is only for pro version

    2) is there a comparation between the free and pro version feature?

    3) is the pro version payment “one time”? or it needs a year fee?

    Thank you very much

    Angelo,
    1. There really is not a registration form for free, no.
If you direct your users to the woocommerce /my-account/ page to register, they can check a box to choose to also apply as a vendor.
In Pro, there is an actual application form with a template.

    2. This is something I need to do- make a chart for this. Thanks for the reminder. For now, I did answer a question like this not long ago. Please see this forum post:
    https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/free-vs-pro-comparison/

    3. Pro is a yearly purchase. by purchasing Pro, you receive 1 year of updates and support for Pro. After 1 year, you can still use the current version of Pro that you have installed- but to receive updates and support you would need to purchase Pro again after 1 year.

    Hi, thank for the response.

And if the out vendors need to calculate shipping fee in due to the total weight of the order, we can install in woocommerce the usual plugin that manage this kind of calculation or is your plugin that needs to calculate it? I justed wanted to say: normal woocommerrce plugins (shipping fee, invoices, product reservations and so on) work corrctly and in a normal way even your plugin is working to offer the “vendor” feature in the site?

    Thank you very much

    Angelo,
“Normal” wocommerce shipping calculation is done on a per CART basis.
WC Vendors calculated vendor commissions on a per PRODUCT basis.
So- normal woocomemerce shipping calculators will not work to separate shipping per product, and there fore any shipping calculated with either woo’s standard shipping options or with a plugin built for woocommerce will not calculate the shipping for the vendors and will also send the shipping funds to admin.

In order to calculate shipping per product, you need the woocommerce per product shipping plugin.
    Or-
You can use our WC Vendors Pro, which separates shipping per product and also allows the vendors to set their own shipping costs for their store or also on a per product basis. We have more shipping options for Pro coming up in our v 1.4.0 also. 🙂

So, if we’ll buy the pro version how our vendor can calculate shipping cost basing the calculation on the total weight of the order?

I mean a customer wants to but 10 Kg of potatoes and 12 Kg of carrots… the shipping cost is different respect to another customer who want only 10 Kg of apples… the shipping cost has to be calculated in due of the total weight (and better would be province/state/nation too)…

    WCVendor can do it?
    Thank you very much Angelo

    Hi, thank you very much.

I’m checking all of that thanks.

In the mean while please think about the weight shipping module because i think it would be a great feature.

    @angelo
We will hopefully be able to continue to expand the options available in WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro in the future; some of the core code must be re-written first to calculate commission differently before we would be able to provide more flexible shipping options.
    All in due time 🙂

    Hi Anna,
thank you, i’m tring your plugin in my test site… and i have another question….

As admin of the site can i create all the products beforehand and than can i assign every product to a single vendor… so every vendor can have a set of products that i had assigned to him?

    Thank you very much
    Angelo
