Hi both,
Prior to Pro I used to add a message for the customer when vendors went on holiday. I used your suggested method of adding ‘Seller away until XXX’ to their shop name. This obviously also changed the URL. When they returned I’d remove the holiday message from their shop name and the url would return to it’s original url.
Since adding Pro, when I remove the holiday message, it doesn’t update the url. I’ve tried saving permalinks in case that was the cause but no joy.
Basically the edit url button doesn’t do anything on Vendor stores. So could you fix it when you have chance?

Hi Karen,
As you’re not the author of the vendor stores it won’t let you change the permalinks. I’ll investigate the capabilities I need to change to make it so the admins can actually edit everything.
I will be adding a vacation mode hopefully for the next release which should stop your need to change the store URLs. Version one of vacation mode will just be a store notice, version two will allow you to disable purchasing products from stores that are away.

Will the message appear on vendors single products as well as their store? Having the option to prevent purchasing or not would be good. I’d personally like our vendors not to miss out on orders if they’re away (as long as customers expectations are set with the holiday message)
