    Hiya both,

When I activated Pro it created all my Vendor Stores from existing vendors using their shop name for their store.

However any new vendors I add via wp-admin, have Vendor Stores created in their own personal name with the word ‘Store’ after them eg ‘Gracey Store’ rather than a company name eg ‘Paprika Jewellery’

It’s not a big issue as I just change each one but could you see if you can add it to your long list of niggles to fix?

    Many thanks,

    Karen

I’m pretty sure @digitalchild has this fixed or is fixing for 1.0.3 which will be out within 24 hours from now…..

    Hello,

The reason why when you create the vendors on the backend that it auto generates ‘username Store’ is because the vendor store post type requires a real title. This is because generally speaking the users are signing up and setting their Store names correctly via the front end registration system.

We need a store title to ensure all the store links work which is why it does this. I’ve added a filter so you can change the format of the default store but it still needs to be based on the initial user data you entered when creating them on the backend.

Where are you storing the company name when you create the user?

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello

It only fills out the shop name as a placeholder, it’s up to the user to change this to something else. If they are unable to change that placeholder or it’s not saving than I’ll need to check the code.

I’m still working on getting the store fronts to play nicely but expect a release soon.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
