    Hello guys

At the “General” tab there is the “Vendor shop page” field (Wc vendors free plugin)
When installing the Wc vendors Pro plugin, at the “Pro” tab, there is the “Vendor Store Slug” field.
So now, i have two different urls for every vendor i have listed in my site.
What do i have to do?

You keep the old and you keep the new one. Make sure both are set. Pro will send them to the pro slug, free will send them to the free slug. Since you’re running Pro, the /vendors/ slug will never be used, but must still exist.

    Hello Ben,

thanks a lot for your response.
    One more question please.
If i keep both urls, isn’t it duplicate content? I mean, two urls for the same content.
Isn’t it bad for SEO ?

    Thanks

It would not have any effect on SEO since your sitemap will not include any links to the old vendor slug. 🙂

I will also block them at my robots.txt file. What do you think?

I also have a problem with the related products.
When i use the code i found in KB, the link at the related products title (more work by:”vendor’s shop name”) goes to the old shop.
Is there anything i can do to go to the new shop instead of the old?

You can see it here: http://hiremycodepreview2.com/proionta/jonsered-cs2240-s-18/
This is the new shop link: http://hiremycodepreview2.com/shop/printezis-store/
and this is the old shop link: http://hiremycodepreview2.com/eshop/%CF%80%CF%81%CE%AF%CE%BD%CF%84%CE%B5%CE%B6%CE%B7%CF%82-store/

I’ll have to update that KB article with a KB for Pro only that way it goes to the right pages. I’ll get that done after dinner tonight. 🙂

Sure, you can block @ robots.txt if you like. It shouldn’t matter either way but play it safe instead of sorry is good. 🙂

Hi, I am trying to figure this out too.

In the free version the stores were /vendor/xxxx I have each vendor’s store and banner customized. Now with the Pro, the custom stuff do not reflect, which I understand, but is there a way to have the pro direct to the free stores, including the meta in the single product view. I am not sure what is the Pro store template, since the free one uses the shop template of the woocommerce, and has sidebar same as the shop, however Pro store does not. I hope I was able to explain this without confusing you too much.

@digitalchild probably has a filter that could allow you to use the old vendor layout

    Hello,

If you want to keep the free layouts and disable the pro layouts then just use the last two lines from this knowledge base article https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/removing-sold-by-on-your-site/ to disable them.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
