    Hi Guys,

Some of my vendors from the online store9about to be launched) will be selling at a pop-up event I have coming up. What’s the best way to have customers pay through a central terminal linked to the vendors’ online stores?

Also, does buddy press only beautify wc vendors pro? No other reason to buy it?

    Thanks for solutions and suggestions.

    Hello,

What’s the best way to have customers pay through a central terminal linked to the vendors’ online stores?

You can use whatever WooCommerce compatible gateway for your marketplace/website. However, there is not a terminal linked directly to your vendor’s stores individually.
How do you have your payments configured currently on your site?
I believe both paypal and Stripe have mobile payment gateways.

BuddyPress is a plugin for social networking/member pages on your site. Did you mean BuddyBoss? They built the Social Marketplace theme and plugin that works with WC Vendors..

Thanks Anna, do you have a good response to how I can add or invite vendors to my pro store? or the exact link they can join through? Thanks.

I added them as vendors from the users back end option but they didn’t receive any notifications by email. What’s the best way to proceed? Thanks.

    @afropolitan-insights ,
Well, you can create a welcome page on your website telling them about the marketplace and inviting them to join, and make buttons that lead to the my-account page or the pro dashboard page (both will show the option to register and sign up as a vendor)
Or- you can just include the link to your site’s my-account page or pro dashboard page url so that they can sign up. 🙂

    Hi Anna,

So I sent them both links to register but they only get a sign up page and not a register page, please see file attached.

    Thoughts?

Have you done any testing or debugging with your own test vendor account? Have you tried these debugging steps?

Would you please provide your woocommerce system status in a reply?

    Hi Anna,

Any thoughts on how this has been resolved in the past? Thanks.

✕ Your theme is not 100% WooCommerce compatible and will not display vendor stores properly. Please show this page ( https://docs.woothemes.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/ ) to your theme author and instruct them to provide full WooCommerce compatibility, not the limited WooCommerce compatibility they currently provide by using woocommerce.php instead of full templates.

    Hi Anna,

I received a notification about a response to my previous question but can’t see anything here. The question was:

    Ishmael,
    what theme are you using?
Are you still having the issue with the vendors being able to properly add products?

yes, that’s still the problem, the page just loads but nothing happens.

The theme I’m using is “bridge”

Hi Anna, so apparently, bridge didn’t have their plugin updated to the woo commerce 3.03 update so they are still 2.6 so i deleted the current woo commerce and uploaded their most recent update but loading the product from the vendor end is still not resolved.

    Ishmael,
Please try debugging- deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce (latest version 3.0.3), WC Vendors (version 1.9.10) and WC Vendors Pro (version 1.4.1).
With only those three plugins active, can you add a product using the front-end forms?
If not, then temporarily switch to the Storefront theme. https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/
Test — do the front end forms work with this theme?

If these tests do not provide any insight, then would you please provide me with an admin login & password in a private reply so I can take a look and see if I can find an issue.

Please do the debugging steps first and see if you can get the front end forms working after either of these tests.

yes, with the storefront theme i could access “product load up” without it stalling even with all the other plugins off and with all the plugins on.

Hi Anna, so storefront theme was working with or without other plugins activated or not activated.

    Ishmael,
Ok- well it definitely sounds like something in that Bridge theme is preventing the Product forms from working properly.
I did not really understand your post here:

Hi Anna, so apparently, bridge didn’t have their plugin updated to the woo commerce 3.03 update so they are still 2.6 so i deleted the current woo commerce and uploaded their most recent update but loading the product from the vendor end is still not resolved.

Did the theme update, then? Are they now WooCommerce 3.0+ compatible? Or do they still need to update their theme for the latest WooCommerce?

We really cannot work on themes and why there is a conflict.. Since we do not write theme theme, it is hard to tell why it is not working with WC Vendors Pro. Sometimes it is a javascript conflict; sometimes they are using the woocommerce.php hack to override the WooCommerce pages.

    Ishmael,
Please contact your theme author to see what may be the issue- we did not build that theme, so I have no idea what may be causing the product pages from not loading correctly when you are using that theme. 🙁
