    Hey team!

    Hope you are well.

Question: If I am building a solution for a client that only uses the booking type product, is there a way to disable all other product types across the board, as in, only bookable type and related menu will appear when vendors are adding items?

For clients like mine who are not going to use WooCommerce and WC Vendors Pro to setup a traditional store that sells items but only wants to use the bookings feature, it would be a huge help to have a kill switch so to speak to only enable bookings on a site.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks.
    Sri

    Hello,
Please go to: WP Admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > Products and check all of the boxes for product type to hide those types: Simple, Variable, Grouped, External/Affiliate
Then only Bookable product type will be available for the vendor to choose from when listing a product.

    Hi Anna,

Thanks for getting back to me. I just checked the settings option you mentioned and realised that I had already done that. Then I realised that what I meant to ask was whether any references to Orders can be changed to Bookings across the solution. I am sorry for the confusion.

We are using Social Marketplace User Dashboard (My Profile renamed) -> “Orders” to “My Bookings” and hide “Products” tab for example? (see attached screenshot)

Thanks again for your help Anna.

    Hello Sri,
For those areas shown int he screenshot you’d actually need to contact BuddyBoss (theme author) support- those pages look to be the buddypress pages and they have altered those quite a bit and added the “products” and other tabs there… we do not control those at all. 🙂

Thanks Anna, I will contact them about those changes.

Besides customising those tabs, do you know if there’s a way to change ORDER or ORDERS across the solution to BOOKING or BOOKINGS when we are only using the booking product type and nothing else in WooCommerce?

    Thanks.
    Sri
