NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi,
    I just updated to 1.4.3, I am having problem with order emails. On vendor’s order notification email, it says all the prices are 0 “zero”. This happens with the variable product.

    Is it just when showing variable products that this occurs?
    I know Jamie is working with some New Order email issues currently..

    I have the same problem. I read some posts from other users about this issue. Some of them suggested to changing the commission rate to any rate, except zero. My commission rate is 88%, but this problem persists.

    The problem began yesterday. It first appeeared with simple product. But, when I tried purchasing variable products, it began to appear to both simple and variable products.

    I hope you don’t mind me jumping in this thread. I noticed today that we’ve been having the same issue (because we’re in development, it took me time to notice).

    A few observations:
    – As Yasa said, this is definitely happening only with variable products. I changed a couple of variables to simple and they worked just fine.
    – The problem described here (https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/variable-products-shipping-still-going-to-me-admin/) is causing the problem described in this thread. Step 1: Shipping from variable products gets sent to the admin; Step 2: Following this, the vendor-new-order email shows $0.00 for both shipping and commission. (However, the vendor can see their commission on the vendor dashboard).
    – The problem began some time between Feb 15 and March 7 (for us at least). I see that doesn’t exactly coincide with a WC Vendors update, although I guess it’s possible I pressed update during this period.

    @fervous I know several people have asked about this, so I hope you don’t mind me asking again if there has been any progress on solving or understanding what’s causing the error with variable products and shipping?

    I’m starting to worry a little here. We are fully updated to the latest versions of WCV and WCV Pro, and we have told vendors and customers we’ll be going live next month. For a platform like ours where 90% of our products are variable products, this issue is mission critical – if it can’t be solved we can’t operate.

    I’d be happy to help out however you need with testing this, just let me know.

    A correction to what I wrote on May 4. As others have reported, this issue began with the update to version 1.4 – and not prior to that, as I mistakenly wrote. Apologies if this was misleading.

    The rest of what I wrote remains correct: Shipping from variable products is being sent to the admin, as has been reported in a couple of other threads; as a result, the vendor-new-order email shows $0.00 for both shipping and commission.

    Hoping for a quick breakthrough.

    hi, just to jump in here, we are facing the same issue. emails to vendors show “0′ even though our commission rate is at 90%.

    hope for a solution soon and thanks for the hard work.

    Hi @FERVOUS,
    I purchased this plugin on January and still couldn’t go live because of the errors that related with wcvendors. I didn’t purchase this plugin for testing, I know you can not do anything about it but maybe you can tell to owners so they might speed up fixing on what they sell?

    6 months is half of my license and I don’t want to waste another 6 months.

    We — as in the three of us at WC Vendors — are aware of these issues and are working to resolve each one as we can.
    This is an open issue- as is the other issue that you linked to (that one we are still not certain if it is site specific or not).
    Developing a marketplace is a lot of work and takes time, so I understand your irritation with any delays. It is a lot of work, and it it very frustrating when projects are delayed or interrupted due to any of the intricate puzzle pieces that need to come together to make it work in an ideal fashion.
    We’ are working on any and all issues within our plugin, and we fully support our plugin.

    Thank you, Yasa- I will continue to report and investigate issues, as well as work with our lead developer to isolate what may be the cause– and if it is something in the code of our plugin that we need to fix- we will fix it.

    Fix is at lines: 199-202

    You guys have a great plugin and i really appreciate it but honestly i think none of your developer even looked into fixing this.
    It took me about 5 hours to figure out. It’s just one single line of code and wouldn’t have taken more than 30 mins for you guys but somehow took more than 1 and half month. ughh!

    Anyways: i have fixes for order details lightbox and taxes not being shown in commission on dashboard page. if anyone’s interested – i can share it here.

    Hello,

    Lead developer here. You found an issue and a fix, Yay! Welcome to the open source community. You also found this in our free offering which is NOT covered by your pro support. This is the same as if there was a bug in woocoomerce and it affected how pro worked, or a theme that affected how pro worked. Sometimes you have to wait for the upstream fix. Due to the sheer number of changes within WooCommerce 3.0 we have been unable to test every single possible use case and fix everything as we dont always know its broken till its reported. For the majority of people, who don’t use variations everything is working fine which is why sometimes bugs take a while to find and fix. There are quite a few other bugs across our products that were slightly higher up the priority list which is why this was on hold.

    But thanks to @daman who has contributed to the free product which is how the community works, it’s all fixed!

    Hi @canyasa

    Actually no it’s not. Pro support is for pro only. From your logic if there is a bug in woocommerce than any paid woocommerce extension should give you support for free woocommerce. Which is NOT the case. I can assure you we are working on fixing all currently reported bugs for the next release. Please be patient as we work through the issues.
