I know this isn’t fully a WC-Vendors question(maybe at least a bit..), but instead of sending the current template of vendor-new-order mail I would like to send the admin-new-order. However, this was not as easy as I thought.
I’ve replaced the code in vendor-new-order with the code from admin-new-order. I’ve then put the vendor-new-order.php file in the following places:
    /MYTHEME/woocommerce/emails
    /MYTHEME/woocommerce
    /MYTHEME/wc-vendors/emails

However, NONE of these works… I’ve also tried changing the template in the Woocommerce email-setting, but that doesn’t help either.. Any ideas?? 🙂
Does Woocommerce use some kind of email-cache??

You are not crazy, it appears to be broken. I’m shocked, because you’d think this would be reported immediately. 😉

Bug ticket #224 — we’ll have that patched up for v1.2.0. Thanks for reporting this Arvid.

Once it is patched, the steps to customize the emails is pretty easy:

1.) wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Click on the email you want to customize

2.) Click “Copy file to theme”

3.) Edit the template, save the template

    Done.
