    Hi Ben,

Related to PayPal Adaptive Payments I did a test with paypal sandbox and checked that appears on the buyer’s invoice payment to two entities.
To be how it works PayPal Adaptive Payments can confuse the buyer who sees the importance divided into two parts.
    Is that so?

    Thanks

PayPal Sandbox works some of the time. Some of the time it does not. Ignore it. Test live. 😉 The problem is not us, it’s PayPal’s sandbox itself. Even PayPal’s reps will tell you it doesnt work a lot of the time.

    Hi Ben,

The screenshot show my online test with PayPal Adaptive Payments.
In fact the payment is divided into two parts.
Thus, the buyer knows the percentages that each part receives. 🙁

    How we can solve this?

That’s just how PayPal works. If you INSTANTLY pay vendors commission, PayPal shows the split payment. If you SCHEDULE the payment to the vendor, then it does not. 🙂

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the clarification.
    Just these doubts:

    – What’s the difference between Instant pay and Payment schedule now?
    – On scheduled payment is there an exact day and hour for processing?

    Regards

    Hi Elsa,

The difference between instant pay and “pay now” is that instant pay will issue the vendors payment the same second the customer places the order. The “pay now” button simply pays anything owed to the vendors (aka commissions marked “due”) when you click the pay now button.

For the scheduler, if you set it to “Weekly” and click save — In 7 days exactly from the time you click save, that’s when the scheduler runs and issues payments.

    Cheers
