    HI,

Just a quick question, if using paypal adaptive payments and payments are split on checkout then who is responsible for the paypal commission? Is each recipient responsible for their part of the payment or does the store carry the full amount?

    Cheers 🙂

    Hi Adam,

If payments are split at checkout — which means you’ve enabled Instant payment of commissions — “He who receives the money pays the proportional amount of commissions”. If admin gets $10 and vendor gets $90, admin pays fees on $10, vendor pays fees on $90.

Oddly, Stripe is different — the vendor pays all of the fees, admin pays none. I do like my Stripe. 🙂
