    Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you about a PDF Vouchers plugin I found, that is compatible with WC Vendors because it has a vendor role and permits the assignement of voucher products to vendors. It also has a shortcode that allows vendors to check voucher codes in the frontend.

For now, this is how it works, but I talked with the author and made a deal to change it to be more suitable to use it in a marketplace environment, so that each vendor will be able to create his own voucher products and the admin will only need to create a PDF template and assign it to a vendor along with some general information that appears on the voucher, like the vendor’s logo, the vendor’s location and a few other details that will need to be filled in only once per vendor.

The developer is working right now to make this work and will include the changes in his next update in a few days, so during next week.

The name of the plugin is: „WooCommerce PDF Vouchers” and is sold on Envato/CodeCanyon by the „WPWEB” author.

Maybe someone finds this information useful as this may help decrease research time when in need of such a plugin. 🙂

    Thank you.

A forum category for “known to work” plugins would be welcome.

Thanks for the heads up! Once the plugin states compatibility on their codecanyon page I’ll have a link to it from here to him on our site as well.

Hi Ben, I’ll communicate that to the PDF Vouchers’ author.

But right now he contacted me asking for “the contact email of WC vendors author”. So I guess it’s you or Jamie. Could you provide us with your email address? (I think he wants to contact you directly to ask some questions.)

    Thank you.

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for providing your email address!

I just wanted to say that WPWEB has released the update with changes that make it much easier for vendors to create their own vouchers.

They also included in the list of features of “WooCommerce PDF Vouchers” on Envato a link to WC Vendors’ site, stating they added support for WC Vendors plugin.

More specifically, they added the ability to assign PDF templates to vendors and the ability to set vendor’s logo, website URL, locations etc at vendor level (in vendor user’s profile). Also the option to hide from the voucher meta settings the fields set at vendor’s level.

So now when a vendor creates a voucher product, he has to set only a few remaining fields: regarding the expiration date of the voucher and generating/importing voucher codes.

Other important features for vendors – that were already part of the plugin before – include: sending emails to Vendors when their voucher get sold out, the ability for vendors to check if the voucher code is Valid or not (both in backend and in the frontend, using a shortcode).

I just summed it up for people that are interested in how it works.

    Hope this helps!
