    Hi,

If I set up a general market place for many industries, then the weight measurement unit will be difficult to manage.

The chemical industry usually needs “mg” level of measurement unit, but the steel industry needs “ton” as measurement unit. Since the weight measurement unit in WC is across the board for whole website so it is very difficult to balance these two,eg, if I set it to ton, the stell makers will be happy but the chemical suppliers will have to use 0.000000025 “ton” for 25 mg. This is the best way to drive them nuts.

To address this issue, the best way I can think of is:

    1. Add custom measurement “mg” and “ton” in WC.

    2. Use WC Measurement Price Calculator.

Please let me know if there is some way I can do it in WCV. Or giving me some general directions will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Wei

I have no idea. This is not WC Vendors related at all. It’s WooCommerce related.
