    Hi,

I have a membership program running on my marketplace and each plan has a limit number of products.
For this to work, I need to hide products from the shop and also from the vendor in the dashboard.
The easiest way to achieve this is tho change the post_status from wp_posts to another status.
Draft status is great to hide from the shop and search, but not from the vendor dashboard. Trash status does both, but I don’t want to take the risk of emptying the trash by mistake (or by some database maintenance plugin) and disappear with some products (I want them available when the vendor comes back or upgrades his plan).

By the other side, if I change the post status to a personalized status, let’s say suspended_it (this is not a woocommerce status. I just wrote it now), it will not show up in the shop (perfect), but still shows up in the vendor dashboard (not so perfect for what I need).

So my question is: is there any post_status to hide the product from everyone but not the admin?
Or, if it doesn’t exist, how can I hide a specific post_status from the vendors dashboard?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    João Capinha

    João,
Yes, it looks like I missed your question- apologies. 🙂

I will pass this over to Ben to see if he can help you more..

All I can think of at this point is to use your draft status in combination with a plugin or code that will restrict content/access to the vendor’s dashboard page so they cannot access the products – but that would also block them from other shop activities.
