    Hi there,

I’m interested in buying your WCVendor Pro Plugin for a customer project we will have in the near future. But first I need to know something.

I downloaded the free version and it looks great. On my testsystem a vendor can admin hin product.
    But, here is my task:

I will have some vendors inside my WooCommerce Shop and each vendor should only edit one product. I think, if I understand the free version right, this is possible also with the free version.

What I additional need is, that all vendors could make their updates with the one product, but that this will not posted directly. Maybe that after the update an admin have to look over the changes and then agree the change. Is that possible with the Pro version?

Please feel free to answer me here or better to my email.

    Best regards

    Felix

    Felix,
Yes, you can set restrictions so that vendors can add products, but cannot publish them until it has received admin approval.

It looks like we do not actually have the ability for the vendor to edit the product and then submit those edits for approval- editing is a yes or no– either the vendor can edit or not.
In Pro we have the trusted vendor option(vendor can publish live without admin approval), the untrusted vendor (cannot publish live without approval), the lock products (cannot add any new products) and lock edit(cannot edit). These settings override the site-wide default publish/edit capabilities and can be set on a per vendor basis.

    Hi Anna,

ah okay, that means in the free version a vendor can just edit or not? right?

And in the Pro-Version its possible that the vendor only could edit just one product and that this must be approved by a admin, right?

    Best wishes

    Felix

    Hello,
To clarify– no, there actually is NOT a setting in free or Pro that will allow the vendor to edit but also have the edit need approval.
The vendor is either allowed to edit (and publish) or is NOT allowed to edit at all.

ah okay. Thanks a lot. Could you make me an offer, how much $ it will take if your team will code this into the plugin? Then I could tell it to my client and we’ll have a look then.

    With best vibes

    @felix
I’ll check on this.. I need to see if the possibility can be created with the vendor role.
