NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

If you are a WC Vendors Pro customer please open a support ticket here.

If you are a WC Vendors user please open a support ticket on the Wordpress.org forums.

The information on this forum is outdated and in most instances no longer relevant. Please be sure to check our documentation for the most up to date information.

That’s what the forums are for! 🙂 🙂

    1.) Yes, of course!

2.) http://www.wordpress.org/plugins/wc-vendors/ see the active installs? 20,000+ websites use WC Vendors. But as company rules, we dont just go around giving out our customers information such as websites. You can see some examples by searching the forums here that other members have shared. There are only three sites in which I’ve been told to share, one is fervous.com and the other is wedding-recycle.com and consciouscrafties.com as well. All three are fine examples of niche marketplaces.

3.) It’s $149 per year. Dont think of a renewal as a re-donation. I too, buy plugins, and find the “yearly renewal” really really really stupid and annoying. But with WC Vendors Pro, look at our changelog. We have NEVER stopped coding and improving Pro — in huge substantial ways each release — and we actually are also here to support you and do so fast and with accuracy. So yep, that’ll cost you $149 a year, or less than a half dollar a day. 🙂 Gotta pay the bills somehow!

4.) That’s where we will have a problem. 🙂 The only coupon we have — actually ADDS $50 to the price. WE dont discount for anyone for any reason ever. Everyone pays the exact same incredibly reasonable price. 🙂 Even the Girl Scouts.

1 – In your WC Vendors payments settings, you can choose to MANUALLY pay your vendors.
With this configuration, all funds from sales are sent to the admin. Admin can then pay vendors using whatever method you wish on whatever schedule you wish and have arranged with your vendors.
You can view commissions reports to see the DUE commissions (wp admin > woocommerce > commission), and then pay your vendors however you wish and mark the commission as PAID.
You can build in extra fields for the vendor’s settings page so they can provide you with banking details or whatever information you need to collect from them so that you can provide them their commission payments.

2- Thanks. 🙂 My site currently uses the BuddyBoss Social Marketplace theme as a base, but I have definitely rather heavily modified the theme and added my own design to many areas of the theme for my own site. By using that theme (and the marketplace plugin that comes with it) you can have a similar layout to your storefront, but not exactly like that out -of -the-box. You can try out that theme here: https://www.buddyboss.com/product/social-marketplace/

You can use any properly coded WooCommerce theme for your site, however. You are not limited to that theme- and if you do not want buddypress and all of the social interaction on your site, then that theme may be a bit overkill.

    Hello,

1- is this feature is just in pro version ? i activated the free one but i didn’t find it

Yes- you can pay your vendors manually in WC Vendors free. wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > payments I thought you were using Pro though since this is the Pro forum.
You can also view commissions (wp admin > woocommerce > commission) and you can add fields, too, in free: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/custom-fields-to-shop-settings-page/ (scroll down to WC Vendors Free)

As for d0kan.. I really do not know. First of all, I did not know they had two D0kans. Secondly, I used d0kan for about 1 month, realized I had wasted my money, and then came over to WC Vendors. That was before WC Vendors Pro, and we were STILL better than the paid version of D0kan. Fast forward almost two years and I now work for WC Vendors, and we have WC Vendors Pro- and it rocks.
Honestly, I am not sure what all d0kan Pro has. I do know that a lot of what they have you pay for as add-ons we include in WC Vendors Pro. But- I cannot say that I have used their current product, so I am really not at liberty to compare.
