I have not bought the pro yet but i have been playing with the free version and it looks promising.

    1. Do you have plans to add a feature where we can limit number of products posted by vendors?

    2. ive checked the gif screenshots of the admin page and i have few questions. Currently, the vendor adds the product in categories and tags. What about attributes? For e.g, we sell clothes and have attributes like color and size? how are we supposed to handle that?

    3. I am fairly new at woocommerce but what if i build a multi store site, for e.g clothes and electronics. Each product will have its own sets of attributes. if i have vendor registered as an electronic supplier. will the front end add product page will include both type of products (if the question no2, attributes can be added)

1.) Yes, eventually, but right now there is no functionality for that.

2.) Attributes and Variable products can not be added in the front end yet. This will be part of version 1.2, scheduled for about 45 days from now. You can still use the back-end add product form for them if you use Pro, but it’s just not ready and pretty on the front end yet.

3.) Vendors have one store, if they want two stores, they would need two user accounts.

    Cheers

i am glad that 1 & 2 is on your future feature list.

As no3, i think you misunderstood my comment. Besides, i think it’s more related to woocommerce than wc vendor. I will tell my scenario, perhaps some other users can give me some advice.

I am still playing with woocommerce but i am having some difficulty in it making work as a ‘full’ multi store website such as magento. where each product category has its own set of attributes. for woocommerce for e.g we have one default search filter. i have shoes category with attributes size and i have shirt categories with attributes color. unfortunately under woocommerce when i visit the shoes page, the search filter (in sidebar) still shows the option of colors too and vice versa. Can anyone suggest a solution or plugin for that? or is it not possible to build a multi store like magento with woocommerce.

Thanks for the clarification. I’m not entirely sure any options like that do exist for WooCommerce. Perhaps another member here reading can chime in with some advice on that one……

    Cheers
