Hi!
I’m planning a marketplace for Latin America, Woocommerce now has an integration with MercadoPago which is similar to PayPal, however I assume that I would also need this integration with WC vendors to be able to pay vendors commissions.
Do you have any insight on this?

Hello,
If the gateway/processor is compatible with WooCommerce, you can use it to accept your customer payments.
However, since it is not integrated with WC Vendor,s you would receive all payments to the admin MercadoPago account. Then, admin can pay the vendors their due commission manually using whatever method and on whatever schedule. The only way vendors can be paid their commission instantly upon checkout is by using the paypal adaptive payments or our Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin.Thank you for the reply,
So all vendors would be able to receive payments via MercadoPago with WooCommerce, does that mean I would need to “turn off” the paypal option from WC? The service that WC would be providing would be simply that of the marketplace itself right, not payment.
After that, all commissions would be handled manually by the admins, just making sure this is correct.
