When I check the box to disable “Coupon Management” under the “Pro Features” category within the “Pro” tab, Ratings are disabled and removed from the vendor dashboard header instead.

When I check the box to disable “Ratings” under the “Pro Features” category within the “Pro” tab, Settings are disabled and removed from the vendor dashboard header instead.

I re-save my permalinks as suggested under the “Pro Features” section. And I save them as something other than “default” as suggested by https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/setting-permalinks/.

I think this is a minor bug that can be easily fixed.

Also, I don’t have a “Coupon” tab in my vendor dashboard header, even when all “disable” boxes are unchecked.

I attached a screenshot of my vendor dashboard header when all “disable” boxes are unchecked.

Try checking or unchecking them all, clicking save, and then redoing it to the settings you want them to be. It might just be an error updating settings. Let me know if that helps!

    Ben,

I tried checking and unchecking all the boxes, saving, and then readjusting the settings and the result is the same.

I’m not sure how it’s coded but it’s almost like those options are set to disable the nth header tab instead of the header tab with id=n.

    So for example:

I’m missing the “Coupon Management” tab, which is supposed to be the 4th tab in the list. And the checkbox to disable “Coupon Management” is set to disable the 4th tab in the list. But the 4th tab in my list is “Ratings”. So the checkbox to disable “Coupon Management” disables “Ratings” instead.

Similarly, the checkbox to disable “Ratings” is set to disable the 5th tab in the list, but my 5th tab is “Settings”, so it disables my “Settings” instead.

Even though this would explain it, I don’t know why it would ever be coded this way.

Furthermore, do you know why I’m missing the “Coupon Management” tab in the first place?

    Thank, Ben!

    1. & 2. I’m not sure if these page settings were related to this issue specifically (and I don’t feel like testing it), but I’m glad you pointed it out, because not setting a page in the options of another plugin caused me problems in the past and it drives me crazy because if it doesn’t work without setting the page then the plugin should establish a default page for you! Or at least set up a notice that tells the admin that the page must be set for it to work properly!

    3. Yep, I overlooked that setting. The disable options now work properly which supports my theory about how it’s coded. You definitely address this in the next release because those settings shouldn’t be dependent on whether you have coupons enabled on Woocommerce settings!

Thanks, again! You were very responsive and helpful!
