when I have pro enabled it doesnt allow my clients to check out. I tried to check out as well and no luck. It gives an error message. I know it’s pro because when I disable it I’m able to check out just fine.

Hi HawwaC, that’s a new one. Havent had any other reports of this so far. But come on, man, you’re not helping things. 🙂 “It gives an error message”. Great! That’s incredibly uninformative and provides no useful information to help me diagnose what the problem might be. 😉

Let me know when you can describe the problem in *detail* so that we can properly support you. 🙂

I am experiencing the exact same issue. Here is how I will explain it:
I purchased the per-product shipping a while back before you all had created the Pro version. Now, when I have your latest version 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 installed along with per-product shipping, the pro version shipping does not work (it shows two error messages as seen in screen shot 238). After I still proceed to check out even though i still have the error messages, then once i am redirected to paypal to check out then I get the error page seen in screenshot 239.

When I deactivate 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 then the shipping works just fine. Well, actually it doesn’t. Customers are able to check out fully and be billed, I also receive the commission with out any problems, but the shipping price that each vendor on my site creates for them selves is not paid to them (as it should be). It is paid to me. I have the default shipping set to $5 just in case any vendor forget to create a shipping price, but I will receive the default shipping price of $5 instead of the manually set shipping by the vendor.

Screen shot 242 shows that someone made a purchase for 4 products. Screen shot 243 shows my paypal account explaining how the products price were distributed to me. As you can see, I received 10% commission plus $2 of default shipping from each vendor. I shouldnt receive anything for shipping at all (I set my setting to the vendors receives all shipping and any tax collected).

@shareef wins the Internet for making an extraordinarily detailed post with bonus points for screenshots. Thanks. 🙂 🙂

Let’s page @digitalchild on this one so he can review if something is going wrong on this.

Here is a message from my programmer…

I have installed the “wc-vendor-pro-v1.1.2” and I have already installed “woocommerce per product shipping” plugin. After installation of “wc-vendor-pro-v1.1.2” I faced the issue with payment checkout i.e. every time a customer performs checkout action then he/she redirects to payment with error. There seems that something went wrong with parameters to paypal. When customer returns from errored paypal to actual site then it shows woocommerce alerts messages in red color:
“Error: amount must be greater than zero” or
    “Error: shipping method Invalid” or
“Error: totalshipping cannot be negative” or
“Error: Paykey is null” or something related to amount and paykey.

I tried to figure out hundreds of times but no luck. Then I decided to degrade the pro-version from latest to previous one (1.1.1) and it happens again and everytime error occurred during checkout so I decide to degrade the pro-version to basic and at last moment it works and payments were transacting successfully. But here is again the issue with Frontend “Pro Dashboard”. I really wants to use the Pro Dashboard but has very limited features as of pro-version-v1.1.2.

Please resolve the issues from pro-version-v.1.1.2 so that we can use the features. I think the problem is due to “Shipping Feature” added in v1.1.2. Please cross check the shipping feature with woocommerce per product shipping as well.

You do not need to run Per Product Shipping with WC Vendors Pro. In fact, we’d recommend you do not use it at all, since Pro’s shipping system replaces PPS entirely.

Right, even when we do not run them together we still have this issue. Why?

To confirm — The only plugins enabled on your website are WooCommerce, WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro, and you are getting errors on PayPal checkout. If this is not the case, test that way first. If you are getting errors, could you post a screenshot of your paypal settings, as well as commission settings?

@HawwaC — Has PayPal Adaptive Payments ever worked for you? What does the paypalap configuration screen look like?

Yupz, it has always worked just fine. It’s only until pro is enabled that it doesn’t allow customers to check out from other vendors. It works fine if it’s one of my products though.

    Hello,

I’ve attempted to replicate this problem without success. I only have WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro enabled. I have give shipping and taxes to vendors enabled, commission set to 50% and tested with 3 vendors in the cart. All vendors were paid correctly without error.

The screenshots above are showing Per Product Shipping added to the order which might be where the issue is.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

I remember Karen saying that Per Product Shipping is not compatible with Pro as it tries to hook into the same areas. Likely disabling PPS will resolve the problem. Sorry I missed that.
