I am not sure how to go about upgrading from the prior version of the WCVendors Pro plugin to v1.0.2.
I backed up my site, then deactivated the prior version plugin, then tried to install v1.0.2 of the plugin, but it complained that a folder already existed and said plugin upgrade cancelled.
I am afraid of breaking something somewhere accidentally – – what is your recommended procedure for upgrading to the latest version?
    Thanks

    Two ways, both work well!

1.) Deactivate and delete WC Vendors Pro, then add the new zip file as a new plugin, and activate it. Done! 🙂

2.) Unzip the zip file and upload it to your website via ftp, overwriting any files that are already there.

We’ll have the auto updater working properly for the next release, we relied on a WooThemes plugin to handle it for us, but it likes to puke instead of working so we’ll have to fix it. 🙂

    Cheers

    Ben

Thanks, it’s a bit more complex than that, though….. It needs to work with the API keys and for the site it’s registered with, so we need to use the WooThemes API Manager code for it. We’ll get it working, it’s just a lot more complex than it needs to be. We spent more time focusing on Pro and Pro features and didnt expect this to be a hard integration. Oops. 🙂
