Pleased to announce, Pro v1.2.3. Also, Free v1.8.7. You need v1.8.7 to use Pro v1.2.3. Update Free first, then Pro.
Some of the most important stuff in this update:
Default date ranges and a date picker for order and dashboard screens. The default is monthly, you can choose that, or annually, quarterly, or weekly. Previously, the Orders tab showed all orders. On large sites, this was…….not fun. 🙂 Now you can tweak it as you see fit. The option is on the Pro tab in your WC Vendors settings.
Now you can add a default store banner. For new shops, previously they had no banner until they uploaded one, which can make things a bit ugly. Set this on your Pro tab in your WC Vendors Settings.
New Shortcode:
wcv_pro_vendorslist— If you’re using the shortcode from WC Vendors Free, or you miss the Vendor Stores display, now you can have it back! 🙂
Orders Page now shows vendors much more. Now they can see what you see!
Also, mouseover the price shown for a breakdown of commission, shipping, and tax totals.
Trusted & Untrusted Vendors — Do you allow vendors to automatically publish products, but hate when *certain* vendors always mess things up? Now you can mark them as Untrusted. Do you require all products be approved, but trust some vendors to auto publish products? Now you can mark them as Trusted. Simply edit the vendors user account, and toggle these options if you’d like them to be enabled, otherwise, regular global publishing rules apply. These are hard overrides to help make managing your site a little easier.
A minor tweak, but a useful one — Now the My account page includes a link to the Dashboard if the user who is logged in is a vendor.
32 other bug fixes and a total of 14 new features were added to WC Vendors. This will be the last release (at least, we hope so!) until v1.3.0 is released with full variable product and attributes support.

I know this is one of the obvious questions and you usually do not have an answer for it and I understand. I’m hoping to get at least a hint, I have been waiting and hoping that this release would already include variable products. I’m not going to hold you for it, whoever reads this shouldn’t either. Looking at the work involved and your experience on these releases so far, when do you think the version 1.3 will be released, is it weeks 1-2-3-6-12 months. I have been with you guys since the Matt Gates era and I understand the journey. This rough idea would help me with forward planning as my site solely depends on variable products, I have been dying to get over this bit. I look forward to your reply.I have set this to private as well in case…(oo)

@arjun — To update, if your license key is activated properly WordPress will tell you there’s an update available. You can force WordPress to check, too. Also, you can always download from http://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/ and upload via ftp and overwrite all files.Cheers
In the WC vendors Free changelog list, there is this, ‘* Added: New commission function for payment gateways’. May I know what this means?
@had_hc — Sure. Previously, there was no way to create a function to mark a commission as paid. It wasnt really ever actually needed, but we found an issue in Stripe where it sure would be handy to have, so we created it. You can review the code and the function w/ arguments here:

WC Vendors Pro v1.2.4 has been released. No templates were updated, so if you have customized templates you do not need to inspect them for updates.
This is a minor release, but with a few cool worth-mentioning features.
The Pro Dashboard’s product and coupon tabs now have pagination. The default is 20 products, or 20 coupons, per page. Now sites with thousands of products by a single vendor will be able to load them much faster. Important: If you get a 404 error when going to page 2 on products, re-save your Permalinks (wp-admin > settings > permalinks > save/update). To change the default for products or coupons from 20 per page, go to the Pro tab in your WC Vendors settings to change to any number you like.
A few members were having pagination issues with the new
[wcv_pro_vendorslist]shortcode. Those should be resolved now.Beyond that, just a few bug fixes in this release. This should be the last update before v1.3.0 comes out, unless something critical shows up.
