    Hello,

Sorry, but I didn’t see a Pre-sales Contact so I am posting my question here.

How does this Woocommerce compare to CS-Cart Multi-vendor:

    https://www.cs-cart.com/what-is-multi-vendor.html

And what would it take to make to as good if not better then CS-Cart, cost of development and time frame?

    Thank you.

They are EXPONENTS away from us.

Their software is TEN TIMES MORE than Pro ( https://www.cs-cart.com/multi-vendor-licenses.html )

And we have TWENTY TIMES more customers

And we have every feature they have and a quadrillionjillion more.

    Thanks Ben.

I am not sure what you mean by “They are EXPONENTS away from us.”

I realize the cost of the CS-Cart product line. I started using
osCommerce, then Zen-cart and then switched to CS-Cart years ago. I have
been bringing up WordPress / Woocommerce sites for awhile now.

Don’t care how many Customers they or you have, I care about the
    features/functions comparison.

I want to bring up Downloadable Malls for Multi-Vendors/Producers to sell
downloadable (zip) and streaming (mp4) media. These files can be very
large, anywhere from 1-3GB where uploading via the Media Library ain’t
going to work. I want the Mall to be able to sell any product from any
Vendor but still allow the Vendors to have their own “Storefront”. The
Mall will do the Payment processing for the Vendors and do monthly Payouts
which have to be 100% automated.

Did you compare CS-Cart Multi-Vendors featuees/function to WC Vendors’?

If you are interested in working with me to get my ideas online, feel free
to contact me on Skype: entangledweb.

    Thanks again,

    Craig

Well, that’s poor. You should look for the features you need, not the features they tell you they have.

No offense, I’m not interested in Skyping (not even my Mom!). We’re software people, and if you need support, the forums are here, that’s all the interaction we got for ya, otherwise, we’re coding and adding more stuff. The type of site you are asking (digital download multi vendor site) is exactly what WC Vendors Free, and Pro, can do, right out of the box, no extra work of even custom anything needed. In fact, it’s probably the absolute simplest thing to do.

If you need other features, perhaps you shall ask us if we have a feature, and we can say yes or no.

But in reality, this is taking a bit with sarcasm because it is a bit silly. WC Vendors Free is free. Download it. Try it. You’ll love it. When you want a better front end form or other features in Pro that makes vendors happier, go for Pro. It’s really really simple. Everyone who does multi vendor ends up here. This is why they are exponents away and this is why you DO care how many customers we have. 🙂

    Cheers

    Fair enough Ben.

I have no problem purchasing Pro.

I can not find a comparison between Free and Pro. Is there one?

Also, I can not find anything about going from Free to Pro. It is only a matter of a License Key or a fresh install to go between version?

    Happy coding.

    Entangled,
The “switch” from WC Vendors free to Pro is quite simple.
Keep WC Vendors free and all settings and pages EXACTLY as they are. Keep it installed and active. (you run both plugins)
Purchase and download Pro. Upload it to wordpress. Activate.
    Configure a few settings.
All of your information, customers, vendors, products, user_meta, — everything form free transfers to Pro. You just have a few extra settings to configure when you activate Pro. The vendors will have a few extra settings also to fill out.

Yeah I need to get to work on a Free vs Pro comparison, for sure. Thanks for the reminder 😉
Here is a list (not complete..) of some of the features in Pro:

    With Pro, you get:
    – Front end forms & management so vendors do NOT need to use the wp back end at all.

-Pro Dashboard with vendors sales reports

-Fully featured front-end product add/edit capabilities

    -Feedback system for Vendor Ratings

-Shipment Tracking for Vendors to enter tracking numbers

-Vendor Shipping so vendors can enter flat rates for national/shipping, or country/state table rate shipping and receive the shipping fees from each sale. WooCommerce Per Product Shipping plugin is no longer needed, as shipping funds are allocated correctly per product to the vendor. Shipping rates can be overridden on a per product basis.

-Multiple commission types such as percentage, percentage + fee, fixed fee, and even fixed fee + fee. These can be overridden on a per vendor basis by Admin.

-Vendor-Only coupons that vendors can create to make their own coupons for only their products

-Vendor store banners, avatars/icons and extra information

-Social module for adding facebook/twitter/google+ and many more

-Vacation Mode , So your vendors can go away for a while and not worry about losing sales

    -Extended Order Notes

    – Template system so you have the ability to configure and style your store and dashboard

MORE TO COME including WooThemes Bookings support, integration with even more Woo plugins, and features requested by users of WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro. Pro will always be continually updated with new features

Pro is WELL worth the small investment.
