    Hello!

    Can anyone else confirm this, please?

    I updated to the latest pro release earlier today. Now, the pro dashboard doesn’t seem to accept any HTML tags, which means that vendors have no option to style their texts, whatsoever. This really sucks!!!

    As soon as I hit “Add product,” the description is stripped of any HTML tags and gets displayed in plain text format. Personally, I only use headings and tables in the description when it is needed. Nothing that fancy.

    I need to know if I’m the only one experiencing this issue., in which case it might be just another plugin conflict.

    I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you, guys!

    Hello

    Yup! And guess what? There is an option in the pro settings to enable HTML all you have to do is tick it and save. Then HTML will work again.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Sweet! 🙂

    Didn’t notice it in the changelog. Thank you!

    No problems,

    The reason is because we had a lot of requests to block HTML from inputs because vendors were adding huge content and making site designs look just awful. If you really wanted to get fancy you can even add the wp_editor to the product form if you _really_ wanted to. We have gist code for this.. somewhere 🙂

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    I think it’s a great idea to have both HTML and non-HTML options available for manipulation by administrators 🙂

    Many thanks for the wordpress editor tip! I was curious as to see how it will look on my site. However, I’m having some trouble integrating the code. I found the snippet you’re referring to, but the text editor/area doesn’t seem to render after I’ve replaced the default WC Vendors text containers.

    Let me show you. This is the finished code for the product description fields. I’ve attempted to replace the default WC Vendors containers with the standard WordPress editor by following the instructions. I’ve also attached a screenshot that shows the end result of this on the frontend.

    <!– Product Description –>
    <?php

    $product_description_args = array(
    ‘editor_height’ => 200,
    ‘media_buttons’ => true,
    ‘teeny’ => true,
    );

    wp_editor( $product_description , ‘post_content’, $product_description_args );

    ?>

    <!– Product Short Description –>
    <?php

    $product_short_description_args = array(
    ‘editor_height’ => 200,
    ‘media_buttons’ => true,
    ‘teeny’ => true,
    );

    wp_editor( $product_short_description , ‘post_excerpt’, $product_short_description_args );

    ?>

    What do you think? Have I missed something?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    Looks like your theme is screwing something up. This is my basic section with working editors. Removing teeny was just to clean up and will have no effect on your code, it’s just not needed.

    I see. Well, it doesn’t matter as long as the text area supports HTML. I’ve already enabled it for this purpose.

    Thank you so much, Jamie!! 🙂

    Have a nice day 🙂
