    Hi,

I’m sorry to open a new topic, but I need to know if you can help me with my question placed on

    Elsa,
If I can get a chance to thoroughly look through the code for this- I will. However this is not WC Vendors related, so I need to assist the other support tickets first. Controlling/modifying the size of the image uploads is not something that WC Vendors controls.
You may also wish to consider writing a css class for your store banners to contain or size the uploaded image in a certain fashion on the store page- basically forcing the dimensions of the image in the container for the banner image.

    Hi Anna,

Thank you for the reply and the tip of writing a css class for store banners.
However, I’m curious to know how and the other platforms that use wcvendors proceed to achieve the homogeneity of size images. I think this’s a crucial aspect of a Multi-Vendor Platform.

    Kind Regards

    Elsa,
I’m not entirely sure how the restrictions are coded in, as each is a bit different, but yes – it is fairly common.
We do have an issue open to investigate the possibility of adding this feature somehow.

    Hi Anna,

I’m pleased to note your open mind, considering the possibility of adding this feature.
This will not only benefit all your customers but will also provide that wcvendors can be seen even more in a way as a plugin that is always on the cutting edge.
    My hat’s off for wcvendors!

    Kind Regards

    Hi Anna,

To partially solve this problem I will opt for Imsanity plugin and hide store banner and store icon on the vendor settings page.
However, the above settings are not working as they should, since the word ‘branding’ and save ‘changes button’ are still visible.

    Appreciate your help

    Thanks

    Elsa,
This should remove the branding tab completely. Put this in your theme/child theme functions.php file:

    Hi Anna

Yes, with that code the branding tab has been completely removed.

    Thanks
