    Hi, I don’t know if this is a WC Vendors or possibly OneSocial issue, and would be grateful for quick assistance to resolve it.

    When we opened our website (in development) today, the products had disappeared (almost) entirely from the Store pages. As the screenshot “Stores” shows, these particular stores are supposed to display many products. And as the other screenshots show, almost all the products are not showing although – even more strangely – a handful are displaying. I should also mention that products are still displaying everywhere else they should be (on categories pages, home page, etc.). This problem is restricted solely to Store pages.

    Everything was fine yesterday, and this problem only occurred today. The only thing we did between the last moment everything was fine and the moment we discovered this issue was that we placed the following code and regenerated thumbnails (for the purpose of changing the way the images are cropped as they appear on a product page).

    add_action(‘init’, ‘remove_woosingle_image_sizes’);

    function remove_woosingle_image_sizes()
    { remove_image_size(‘bm-shop_single’);
    add_image_size( ‘bm-shop_single’, 547, 607);
    }

    We tested whether this was to blame by removing the code and regenerating thumbnails again, and even by removing the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin altogether, but the problem persisted.

    Clearly the issue is something else, but I have no idea what could have caused this.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    I should add that we’ve found that the All Products page (url/shop) and Search Results pages are also returning only three products out of the ~100 products they should be showing.

    So for some reason All Products, Search and Store pages have mysteriously stopped pulling in the products correctly; but the Categories & Subcategories pages do display all of the products on our site.

    Nadav,
    Have you done any debugging?
    Deactivate all plugins except WooCOmmerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro and see if it still occurs..
    Please also share your WooCommerce System Status in a reply: wp admin > woocommerce > system status

    Hi Anna,

    None of the plugins appear to be causing the problem, although my Social Marketplace plugin updated to 1.3.1 today. (When I deactivated Marketplace during the tests right now, it just showed errors all over the site, which I guess isn’t surprising).

    Nadav,
    Did you add any code to your theme /child theme functions.php?
    When you say it does not appear that any plugins are the issue- did you actually deactivate all but WC Vendors, WC Vendors Pro and WooCommerce to see if the product images were present?

    Please do that, if you haven’t.

    If that does not isolate the issue, then please provide me an admin login & password in a private reply and I can take a look.
    Thanks!

    Anna,
    I deactivated everything and found the culprit – Search & Filter Pro. It’s generally a good plugin; I’ll ask them about this.
    I’ll acknowledge I was hesitant to deactivate all plugins as I wasn’t sure of the consequences, but I guess the settings are always saved for re-activation?
    This raises a larger question, which I understand isn’t necessarily one for WC Vendors support, but if you or anyone else know the answer: how on earth can a plugin that has not updated for 18 days suddenly interfere like this? And how do we prevent plugins – whether S&F or any other – from doing this?

    Thanks.

    Yes it’s scary at first deactivating plug in’s but they keep all their settings for when you reactivate them 🙂 The only one that doesn’t seem to is Marketplace as I lose all my menu’s if I deactivate that one.

    I’m guessing that Marketplace update interfered with your Search and Filter plug in (if that’s the only one you updated recently). That’s why I hold my breath every time I update plug ins! Many people run a staging site for testing conflicts before going live. Something I need to do!

    I should mention that Trevor, the guy behind Search & Filter, solved my problem very quickly over Skype, and it had to do with something I had done in the settings. It’s a complex plugin for novices, but if any of you are considering using it on your WC Vendors site, I assure you that you’re in good hands.

    I’m glad to know you were able to locate the issue- and even more happy that the plugin author was able to assist you so this could be resolved.
    Yay!
