    Hello,

Regardless of using WC vendors PRO shipping module or the standard Flat rate, the shipping class isn’t submitted into the system when adding or editing a product.
Please see before and after images.

    Hello,

I’ve fixed this so shipping classes are now saved. We however don’t use shipping classes in our shipping module.

    cheers,

    Jamie

    Thanks Jamie,
I will still be able to use them with flat rate, instead of your module, right? 🙂

Remember — The shipping classes have nothing to do with the Pro shipping module. As such, that dropdown will be removed in v1.1.1 if the only shipping module you have activated is the Pro module. If you have any other shipping systems, then that dropdown will still show.

You can use any shipping module you like, but remember, if you do, vendors cant receive the funds from shipping fees since other shipping modules besides ours do not calculate shipping on a per product basis.

If you dont want vendors to get the money for shipping, use any module you like for it. If you do want vendors to get the money for shipping, use Pro, and Pro only. 🙂

Hello again, I’ve disabled the WC Vendors PRO module and only activated Flat rate, but the dropdown menu isn’t showing.
    Any ideas? :/

Hi, the dropdown menu showing which shipping class to choose when adding a new product. Print below.

That is working as intended. Shipping Classes do not apply to Vendor Shipping. They only apply with WooThemes shipping extensions. If you showed the dropdown there, it would provide no functionality and be a waste of space. 🙂 If you disable Vendor Shipping in your shipping settings, the Shipping Class will show, but it hides if Vendor Shipping is enabled since it is not used at all.

I think you misunderstood. I just want to use flat rate and I need my vendors to able to set the shipping clas. This was possible in 1.1.0(although not saving the class). But now vendors can’t fins the dropdown menu to choose shipping class.

You’re telling me that I either have to use your shipping module, or no shipping at all? 🙁
There is no possibility for vendors to set a shipping class?

I’m saying that if you use Vendor Shipping, there’s no *reason* for a Shipping Class. It’s all a flat rate per product. It’s quite simple. Play with it! 🙂

I see. But still it is not possible to use shipping classes from the front end? 🙂
