    HI guys

First of all I would like to say great plugin. I have downloaded the free version and everything just seems to work (I suppose that was the main goal) Unlike another plugin I tried….still waiting for them to get back to me after 3 days.

I tested WC Vendors against Dokan and I have to say that the chaps at Dokan has done a tremendous job at getting their plugin interface to look good. I enjoy the ease of setting up a store (I mainly work with people with veeeeeery limited technical skills) Also their vendors shopfront just looks great and it really does look like the vendor has his/her own “Website”

WC Vendors on the other hand (and no disrespect intended) looks a bit bland if you look at the vendors shop page in comparison to Dokan. I understand that I can buy the Buddyboss addon but that will double my WC Vendors investment and it does look like Dokan offers the BB options builtin (I may be wrong, but it’s easy to make your store header look good for example). I’m using the Flatsome theme and I don’t really want to move away from it.

I’m not trying to make anyone look good or bad, just wanted to ask that if I would like my clients/vendors feel like they have their own website do I have to go the BB route or do you offer some kind of custom solution/addon?

    Many thanks

    JJ

    Hello,
Until we get a theme created (we’re working on it) the store headers can be designed by modifying the template (wp content/plugins/wc-vendors-pro/templates/store/store-header.php)
You can add or alter the css designs for the store banner to show differently, etc.

The BuddyBoss theme has a nice store header and store page design, yes. It also has a lot of extra integration with BuddyPress, if that interests you. If you do not plan on making a social site with buddypress, that theme is likely a bit heavy. Overall, if you want the store pages designed well without having to do any of the styling yourself, the buddyboss Social Marketplace is likely the best theme to use at this time.
If you’d like to continue using Flatsome, then you can adjust some of the styles a bit, and I can help guide to you to any files or folders that you would need in doing so.
