    Hello,

I am trying to hide the category “Directory Subscriptions” from the add products/ edit products form in WC Vendors Pro, to prevent users adding to this group. How would I go about doing this?

    Thanks

Admin panel -> Products -> Categories

why you want to hide this? other users can use it?

Admin users need to be able to add to it in the backend, however none of the vendors are allowed on the front end.

    Hi Robin,

There’s no functionality to hide certain categories on the front end. However, that doesnt mean we aren’t happy as hell to code that in for you. 🙂 I created a ticket #151 for this, you can expect it soon.

Just wondering if you know of a possible work around for the time being? I have tried hiding the id for the label in CSS but this seems to change each time the page is refreshed and does not work…

    Thanks

If the solution was simple, I’d happily share it with you. But it is not. 😉 It’s quite a bit of complex code to write. We’ll get there, but right this moment, there’s no way to create a workaround.

All done. When Pro v1.2.0 comes out in the next few days, you will see this on the Product Forms option. Simply enter the category ID’s you want to hide. If you wanted to hide ID # 5 & 11, you’d enter “5,11” on the form hider. See attached image.
