Excuse the vague title. What i’m trying to achieve is:

Assign vendors to one of four groups/levels based on the commission percentage they earn. Then when customers visit the main store from the vendors page they only see the products from other vendors in that group/level.

I’m happy to manually assign the commission % per vendor, so I don’t necessarily need to create groups or levels, and my thinking is I ought to be able to create a product attribute based on the vendors commission then pass this attribute through to the store page.

Before I go any further along this line, does what i’m trying to do make sense? and is it going to be possible to do the way i’ve outlined?

    Hello,
Possible? yes it sounds like it.
I am not sure exactly HOW you would do this, but You could likely code pages that showed on the condition that a vendor has products in a certain category or with a certain attribute.
Also, there may be a possibility to use BuddyPress and assign vendors to a group or enter a field for the vendors.. and then use a buddypress search plugin like BP Profile Search to create pages of certain members who have that matched field. Does this make sense?
Some custom work should be able to make this possible.
