    Hello!

Firstly I’m really interested in purchasing this plugin and I have decided to do so but I have one question regarding the pro version, which is….

Is there a way my vendors can upload musicas a media alongside with images so costumers can preview the music before they buy it (because my website specialises in selling music!)

I noticed in the free version that vendors easily can add music in the ‘product short description’ by clicking add media and simply uploading their mp3 file and the audio player shows right next to the image on the product page! But when I tried to upload the music from the front end vendors pro version on your demo website I noticed that I could only upload images 🙁 and there was no option to add music like the free version :(. I really like the front end design of the WC vendor pro version but is there a way to enable my vendors to add music with their images?
    My website strictly sells music.

Sure, that’d be pretty easy with Pro. Just have an extra file uploader on the add/edit product form, and then use that on your single product hook to embed the preview.

For images, just a matter of how the theme shows them

Sorry ben, I’m a little lost! Where and how do I have an extra file uploader? is this why I purchase vendors pro in the vendor’s product settings or? and what do you mean by ‘hook’.
My apologies I just don’t want to cause any inconvenience for my vendors

    Thank you!

No worries! That’s what we’re here to help with. 😉

If you want to add a file uploader for an additional media sample file (mp3, wav, whatever doesnt matter) then we can do so by editing your Pro add/edit product template. We add in one or two lines of code, and voila, an additional file uploader appears to your vendors.

Then, we can write a little four lines of code — a hook — to “hook” into your Single Product page — you know, when you are on your website looking at one product. And we can embed the media file uploaded above directly into the webpage that way.

Ohhh ok, What will be the procedures when I purchase the plug-in. Will you guys have to edit my product template page for me alongside the four lines of code to hook into my single product page?

Probably Anna can show you how to do it real fast. Go Pro, and then completely ignore this customization for now and just get it all configured and tweaked to your liking. Then bump this thread and we’ll get on this next. It’s not hard at all, but it’s easier to do it once you know how your site looks. 🙂
