    Hi Anna

    Sorry to bother you again about shipping – I thought I had my stuff nailed and was ready to progress but somethings not right.

    I have the following happening with my shipping – both issue involve overwriting the default store shipping policies.

    1) I have a vendor with a default shipping fee of five English pounds which works perfectly for every product added.

    2) if I disable the shipping a product it still shows up as £5 in the shipping tab on the product. However, on checkout, it doesn’t calculate shipping. so it’s working but just not overriding on the shipping tab display (it should read no shipping available for this product)which I’m sure it used to do.

    1a) If I go the other way and increase the shipping past the maximum it does the opposite.

    2a) It shows up in the shipping tab correctly, in my tests I set a £15 shipping on one product and the store is set to £10 max. on the single product screen shipping tab, the amount shows up as £15 which is right but on checkout, it only shows the £10 store level setting and only calculates the £10.

    Any idea what might be causing this. is it a bug all plugins and themes have been disabled except the main 5 (i use bookings) I’ve not been able to follow the forums as much recently because I’ve been on with other things, so apologies if this has been covered or worked on.

    @nofski
    I am doing some testing with the product override shipping- as several users have reported similar issues, but I am still trying to isolate what is happening.
    Could you just tell me (most of your description was very thorough- thank you!):
    Is this for a variable product, or simple product? Or both?

    Thanks you- I am working on this and will get an issue submitted as soon as I can narrow these issues down a bit.

    Hi Anna

    Sorry, I forgot to tick notify by email.

    I’m just using simple products for the vendors. I have a couple of products listed as admin that are variable products but as I say its just simple products for vendors.

    OK- thank you. So far, I can only recreate an issue with variable products- which I have reported- however, I am not yet able to recreate this with a simple product.
    I will keep looking into this, though, as you’ve certainly been able to narrow this down a bit and see the issue.
