NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    Hi guys ,
    i have a client who sells seeds.
    Can i set the cost for shipping based on shop ?
    i mean the customer buys 3 kind of products from same shop
    and pays just one shipping cost.
    now i get 3 costs (one for every kind of product).

    Hi Frandes,

    Not yet, we’re looking into ways to add that as an option. The problem comes down to how WooCommerce handles products in the cart for shipping calculations. Hopefully we’ll have something that works like this in the future.

    Hi Ben ,
    Just a thought , if every vendor creates s product called “Shipping”
    is it possible that at the checkout the system appends automatically this product to
    every vendor store , once per order ?

    That’s an interesting way to handle it. I’ll run it past @digitalchild who is the lead developer for Pro.

    Hi,

    Just jumping in with a thought.. Would it be possible if the vendor could select on their dashboard on the shipping tab a price for grouped products? say 3.99 for a single product then 4.99 for grouped products so the client doesn’t get charged multiply times for shipping for having different products in the shopping basket from the same store?

    Most likely not, no. That’d be a *ton* of custom code for a single use scenario as yours is…… 🙁 The cart doesnt even work in that fashion, you’d have to write something from scratch for that.
