    Hi!
We have very complicated setup in our shop with additional fields, add-ons plugin etc. This is why we think about redirecting vendors to admin panel while adding products (this allow us to use many plugins that we would have code when using front dashboard to that). The problem is that on admin site there is no shipping options from WC Vendors Shipping (not possible to add rates). Why is this that way ? It’s very strange to me, is this intended or is this a bug ?

One more thing. About 2 digit codes. Regions code should work or not ? For example EU for European Union, SA – South Africa, OC – Oceania etc. These are ISO codes for regions, it would be very nice to have that…

    Hey WCV team,
firstly: nice work, keep it up!

Regarding this thread: I see you didn’t respond to Mike (who is the main dev on a project we’re completing for our client) yet, so please let us know if the initial description of this issue is not clear, and we can try ironing it a bit more, otherwise can you please let us know your thoughts asap. It doesn’t have to be a complete solution, just we need to know if there’s a major issue with doing what we require.

    Cheers,
    Greg

    Hey Ben,

many thanks for the reply, we appreciate. I understand no prob 😉

Given we have a myriad of various plugins that inject themselves into product edit pane, we decided to rather integrate WCV’s shipping into wp-admin, than doing it the other way around. We have had a good experience with ACF in the past and might try to combo some of the custom coding with ACF fields to augment products’ panes with WPC shipping fields on wp-admin level.
Does that sound about right to you @Ben or can this become a kludge at some point from your perspective ?

We are rather power devs and do not expect an easy solution here, but if that’s a crazy idea please fire away!
The first thing that we liked about WCV was exactly the sleek interface between actual wp-admin and vendors, but sadly I don’t think we can use it in our setup :/

    Cheers,
    Greg.

WE’ve seen other members use ACF and have had good success with it. Check our KnowledgeBase, there’s an article on ACF integration that is pretty straight forward. Of course searching ACF on the help forums here will probably also yield you a few dozen other threads with useful information. Standard disclaimer, we dont use ACF at all so you’re on your own in this territory. 🙂
