Hello, when a shop owner uploads a banner, everything is good and it looks great. However, if a shop owner has not uploaded a banner, the space where the banner would be is just a big white rectangle. Has anyone run into this or know of a fix? Thank you.
Hi, I just wanted to add, that this only started happening after I updated the plugin. Is there a way, that in this code

}I could make the else get default banner just display none?
I don’t want to add a default banner, and I liked how it was before, that if a vendor doesn’t upload a banner then it just shows nothing, but now there is just a huge space on the top of the page where the banner would be. Thank you so much.
Hi again, this only happened after I updated marketplace and buddypress, not wcvendors. I know some other people use those plugins and the theme onesocial, and I am just not sure what to do or if anyone else who uses them ran into this after updating.

We do have a default option for shop banners:
wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > pro (scroll to the bottom). You can choose a default image for the shop banners so it is not just blank.
If that is not working, then you will need to discuss with BuddyBoss how you can either show a default banner, or perhaps have the shop banner region measure differently if there is no banner uploaded by the vendor.Hi,
I wanted to remove store banner from individual product pages, but by unchecking the box (woocommerce – wcvendors – pro tab – Store Single Product Header is Unchecked) — but the banner still shoes up on single products. I want it visible on the shop pages only (and that option IS checked). Any ideas why or what to do to remove it from single products?

BuddyBoss overrides those templates, so please ask them this question, as I am not sure how to remove their product page banners.Thanks for your reply Anna- I am not using buddyboss- I replied to this topic b/c I twas about banners. I am using Marketica Theme (Tokopress does the help desk and they are so unresponsive). Is that who I should reach out to?

It looks like I thought you were the original author of this topic and got the two of you mixed up- sorry.
Unfortunately the answer is not dissimilar: Marketica overrides that page with their own design templates. If our settings are not working, it means they have hard coded something in to make the banners appear differently. So yes- in order to get the banners removed from the single product pages, you will need to contact them, as I am not sure what they have done to modify that area and how they have added in their custom banners/single product headers. 🙁I hope they assist you. If they do not reply in a reasonable amount of time, let me knwo and perhaps I can reach out to them also.
