NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Thanks Ben and Jamie for picking up development on this – great to see it going forward!

    I have a question I thought you may know the answer to:

    How do you show the vendor (ie the one listed under “sold by” on individual product listings) on individual items on a Woocommerce invoice?

    ie, something along these lines:

    [product name], sold by [vendor name]

    I’m currently using this plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-pdf-invoice/5951088 – but I’m open to other options if there’s anything better for this purpose.

    Hi Asbjoern,

    You could do this by modifying the email template and iterating over the products and getting the author of the product. From there you can grab relevant vendor info to display in the table.

    Thanks Jamie. I’m in a little over my head with that, I think. Optimally, I’d like the ‘Sold By’ vendor name to be shown next to the each item in a) the emails, b) the Invoice PDF generated and c) throughout the purchase chain (it disappears from the checkout page). Is this something I can hire you to help set up – if so, please drop me an email at the address I used to register on this site, with details.
