The icon for the social Snapchat does not appear in store header. I looked in the v1.3.3 template and don’t see a reference there around line 37. Is that why?

Also just realized that no matter what I type in as a snapchat username does not save. For example, type in a social snapchat user name on the branding tab. Save it. Go to the vendor store, icon does not appear. Go back to vendor dashboard branding tab and the social snapchat line shows the default “snapchatUsername” words in the box again.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Sorry, I meant the dashboard “settings – social” tab, not the branding tab.

thanks, was also looking at the changelog for 1.3.3

Can you explain what the added features “Verified Vendors Badge” and “Option to disable select2 from loading” are for or what they do.

I see them referenced at the bottom of the “Pro” tab.

Verified Vendors Badge gives vendors a little flair. Think of it just as an extra nifty option that shows a vendor is verified. Some sites will use it, some wont, just there if you want it.

Option to disable select2 from loading – Will be rarely used, mostly for sites who have idiots for theme authors forcing their own javascript on your causing problems. Leave this option alone unless you specifically have a reason for needing to disable this.

Hi Ben, my Verified Vendors Badge doesn’t appear. Is that because Social Marketplace theme haven’t caught up? Thanks

I don’t know. Did you try switching to Storefront and disabling the Marketplace plugin and test?

I don’t know where to find the VERIFIED VENDORS badge. I see the setting in the user-edit and marked the checkbox ‘Check to publish that this vendor is verified by the store admin..’ Where then would I see this badge? On the vendor page? On a product page? Also wondering if there is a graphic to go with it, but right now I don’t see anything. Thanks for a very nice product.

    @cswainhart
The standard showing of the Verified Vendor is in the store header (Pro banner/header area). It is a check mark with Verified Vendor (or whatever you have chosen to have it say in your wc vendors admin settings).

I don’t suppose there is a way to change the checkmark to a logo of our choice? Thank you. 🙂

    Sure, you can.
    In the store-header.php template (wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors-pro/templates/store/store-header.php), line 109:
    <i class="fa fa-check-circle-o fa-lg" aria-hidden="true"></i> &nbsp; <?php echo $verified_vendor_label; ?>
Change the fa fa-check-circle-o-lg to whatever font awesome icon you wish. for example: <i class="fa fa-certificate-lg" aria-hidden="true"></i>
You could even add an image instead of an icon.

TO modify the template, follow these instructions:
