NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

For the time being, we will leave our forums open for reading and learning while we work on creating a more robust Knowledge Base for everyone to use.

    Does the Stripe add-on do just standalone Stripe accounts or Managed?



    Also, has anyone found it an issue for potential Sellers on their site when they are told they need to create a Stripe account in order to receive funds? My worry is people will see they need to create yet another account and decide it isn’t worth the time to try to sell on our site. Our site is going to be where crafters can sell their extra or non-used craft supplies to others – so essentially moms just trying to make a few extra bucks with stuff they have but don’t need anymore. Since they are not serious sellers, the dedication to creating a Stripe account may be quite low.



    Our Stripe plugin works with the Standalone accounts.
    I have had a few sellers ask why we do not accept paypal on our site. However, I explain to then that we feel it is best for our buyers and sellers to use Stripe as a payment processor- especially with the handmade nature of the goods on our site.
