NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi,

    Since I started using WCVendors Pro, I’m still struggling with the concept of the dashboard pages.

    I have searched and read a bunch of thing. I know we’re supposed to leave the free dash-page in place. But why? (in the technical sense)

    Can the page be set as private?
    Or maybe a redirect in .htaccess?
    Or better, can it be removed?

    Looking forward to your answer, no hurry though 😉

    Hey Robbie,
    Free version dashboard pages should be published, I had that struggle too so I just put really long and complicated page names for free dashboard pages and used a redirection plugin to redirect them to 404 page.

    If you redirect it, why not to the pro dashboard instead of a 404?

    That leaves me with the question of “why”.. I’m just curious.

    Of course you can redirect to the pro dashboard too, but that gives a clue about the address(which is hard to guess that address) so I rather redirect it to 404 instead prodash. It’s hidden anyway so regular users won’t understand the difference.
