    Hey Benkonobi,

    Oh wizard and mystical coder, my users are unable to save the “store shipping address” every time they enter it and hit save, then go to the settings and check the address, it’s still missing. I have tried as the administrator to enter it for them manually, but the same issue occurs, the address field won’t save.

    It’s a huge issue as the shipping value is pulling from here, which means nothing is able to be purchased for that vendor.

    Ok, I have done some deeper troubleshooting and have found the following.

    WC Vendors Pro says an update is needed, after successful update, it still says an update is available even though I am on the latest version. Screen shot added.

    I have two store shipping address sections. One called “store address” and another called “store shipping address”. Neither of these allow me to save addresses to them.

    I have tried with all plugins deactivated and the 2016 theme and the same issues are present.

    Please help, no one can purchase from my site.

    Please send us a private reply with your woocommerce status report, as well as admin login information if you would like me to take a look at your site.
    Since you have done the standard testing, I may need to look to see what could be causing this issue. If you have a dev or staging site, that would be preferred.

    George,
    I have tried a lot of testing on your site, and I also cannot get the shipping settings to save. I deactivated all but the three needed plugins, set the site to storefront theme.. checked settings, pages, etc.

    Did you drop any tables from your database?

    Were the addresses previously saving, and now do not save? If so, when did they stop saving or when did this issue begin happening?

    Since I had an admin login, I could not try from the front-end pro form in the vendor dashboard settings to set the vendor address. I attempted multiple times in the admin user settings and was unable to save the store shipping address for the vendor, beyond state. The state would save.

    I’ll see if I can get a bit of help with this issue. Please do answer the questions above.

    I didn’t drop any table on purpose, unless a plugin did it I was unaware of.

    Addresses used to save just fine, and I only noticed it a couple days ago.

    Is there a way to rebuild them, or reinstall the plugin?

    Hello,

    Store address information is attached to the user(vendor) as user meta. Check to see if other user meta is saving. Might be something wrong with the usermeta table.

    Did you try with Storefront theme activated, and the Marketplace plugin deactivated? Did you try in wp-admin by editing the vendors user account?

    Hello,

    I mean, other user meta that we don’t set. As in changing their display name, website, email that kind of stuff. Are the shop descriptions saving, everything else?

    Shop name, email, shop description, and display name all changed and saved correctly.

    George,
    Please try by entering the vendor’s address (in the admin) by going to one of your users/vendors and entering the address in the Store Address fields and see if that saves.
    Not the store shipping address fields; use the store address fields (fields directly after the “store url” and directly before the “store social”).

    All fields in the “store address” save correctly. However these don’t appear to affect the store shipping address tied to product shipping costs.

    Just noticed another issue I believe it may be related, my vendor “handling fees” are not being applied.

    Are the handling fees part of the pro shipping?

    I have been getting tons of complaints about shipping not being available to customers andby my vendors… need some help here Benkonobi, your my only hope.

    Jamie has fixed some shipping bugs I was having, so hopefully when Benkonibi releases it very soon it’ll include your issues too

    I’ll bring this issue up again with Ben & Jamie. After testing with you I am not sure what else to check right now.
    I’ll pass along this thread so they can look.

    Karen is right- there should be an update available very soon that includes some work done to address some of the shipping bugs.

    Thank you, have a event my vendors are preparing for and they are hesitant to advertise because of this issue…lack of confidence they will get the right shipping if at all.

    Hello,

    We pushed 1.3.5 out today please update to that and check that shipping is applied. Regarding the shipping address, I’ll continue to look into that for you.

    All is right in the world this morning… whatever magic you enchanted into this update seems to have resolved my shipping issue. Shipping appears to be available and working, all hail the great Benkonobi and Jamie (needs a cool nickname).

    Hello Everyone. I am now having this same issue. I disabled all the necessary plugins and tried storefront. My latest attempt was to start from a new WP installation but the issue is still happening. I notice that only the phone number will save under User / Vendor / edit Store Shipping Address.

    Is there something I am missing? Maybe this is a bug?

    Hello Anna and Jamie, Thank you both so much for looking into this bug and fixing it. My site heavily relies on this info for shipping. Is there a way I can access the fixed branch, or must I wait for the push to master? If must wait for update can would you please let me know where we are with this one. Apologies for bringing this up again. Thanks again for all of your hard work.
