    Hi,

I am running the pro version of Vendors and I purchased the Stripe connect and the Woocommerce Stripe Gateway plugins. I have removed and turned off all social media connection plugins, and I tested in 2014 theme.

When I use Stripe Connect, I get an error when paying saying there is an invalid card or to ensure Javascript is enabled. When I try the Woocommerce Stripe Gateway with all of the same information it succeeds. Am I missing something painfully obvious? I would really love to get auto-payments to vendors working.

    Thank you

    Hi Jeremy,

Stripe should work as long as you have the latest WooCommerce without any issues. I’ve never heard of anyone having an error like this, is it possible to show me a few screenshots? You can attach images to your post here by clicking “Choose File”.

Of course, part of me wonders, is the card you are using an invalid card number? Are you in live or test mode? Are you getting any errors on your console on the checkout pages?

    Cheers

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

I’ve looked at the card and the credentials now a lot. It’s all in order, it’s all in test. The only thing left is what version of the API is Stripe needing to be in for this to work?

I’m using 4242424242424242 and any expiration and 3 digit code.

Stripe requires $0.50 as the minimum purchase amount. Bump up the purchase price to a few dollars and check again?

    Hi Ben,

I’ve tried a lot of different prices. I will try again to confirm.
Just tried, can confirm even at 100 dollars it gives the same message.

The error message you are getting indicates that Stripe is not giving you a pay token when you send an order to them to process. Something is wrong with if/how your site can connect to Stripe, or perhaps there is a Java error with your web browser. It’s not a bug, it’s certainly something related to your site. What it is, I’m really unsure of, though. Perhaps you might ask Stripe what’s going on with the orders you are sending them

Thought I would follow up with this issue in case somebody else is looking for the answer.

I was able to determine that this issue was caused by having the Stripe for Woocommerce plugin also installed. After deleting it I was able to go through the test checkout just fine. When I re-added the plugin, it threw the error again.

Thanks for the update on this. Glad you were able to sort it out.
