The Stripe commissions appear to be working normally with regular products, however, we had a transaction where the Vendor received the approximate store share and our store received what should have been the vendor share, although even for that the numbers don’t quite line up. The only thing different that we could tell about this order is that it was for a variable product. I am hoping you can help us figure this out, as we have many variable products in use. We had to cut a check and mail to the vendor the the amount due. I have attached credentials, a stripe log file, and the system status file.

    Site: AOTV.shop
WC Vendors – Stripe Commissions & Gateway: by WC Vendors – 1.0.4
WC Vendors Pro: by WC Vendors – 1.4.3
WC Vendors: by WC Vendors – 1.9.11

    ================== DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM ==========================
Name of web site atore: AOTV.shop
    Name of Vendor: Canyon Coolers

Amount settled in AOTV store: 357.99
    Vendor received: 68.94

We think the store should have received 87.99 (20%)

    Hello,
Thank you for providing such detailed information- that helps.
I will do some testing with variable products and Stripe to see if I experience any issues.

One thing- we do have an updated version of our Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin.. This update may or may not affect your current issue, but we did have to include some fixes for the new WooCommerce 3.0x version released in early April. If you would please update your Stripe Commissions & Gateway to v1.0.5

Anna, I have updated the plugin per your instructions. Thanks for looking into this issue. Can’t really figure out what happened with the Stripe transaction. Normally it works fine.

Please start a new forum topic with your question, as this question is totally unrelated to the topic started by Christopher.

Any progress on this issue? I would like to find out why Stripe mangled my commissions on this order, when ordinarily it does fine.

We are running a father’s day special on some variable products, and really hope you can take a look at this.

I cannot replicate this at all-
Are you certain there are no product or vendor adjustment for commissions?

I have given you credentials to log in to our account and look at it. The same thing happened again today for the same product. Will you check it out? Order number 1432. The vendor wants to opt out of Stripe because of this.

How do I remove the Stripe split from this account and just charge our stripe account? then we will just write checks to the client?

Have you had any other sales of any variable products on your site? Can you run a transaction via stripe on one from another vendor who is connected to Stripe?

I have logged in, and I do see that this is occurring.
However,r for me to test, I need to do so on my own site with Stripe credentials and testing orders. Payment processing & gateway issues are very difficult to isolate- but we are working on it.

As of yet I have not been able to isolate the issue, but I will submit a report and we will continue to work to isolate the issue and learn if it is something in our Stripe Plugin or WC Vendors that needs to be fixed.

In the meantime, rather than your vendor leaving Stripe, you could encourage this person to list the product as two different products (simple product) rather than a variable product- and see if the issue is resolved. Since the product only has to options, they could be easily listed as two different products int he vendor’s store.
You can then disable variations for now on your site until we are able to locate this issue.

If they still wish to leave Stripe, then you can disconnect them from Stripe (pro dashboard > settings > payments). The commissions still may not be calculated properly though, if this is an issue of commissions calculation with the variable product and NOT an issue with Stripe. So their commissions due (wp admin > woocommerce > commissions) may still not be properly calculated.

IMO temporarily disabling the variable products may be the safest route at this point, unless you feel that this would be a major issue for your vendors. Any present variable products would need to be made into simple product listings before you disable variable products / variations.
