Hi, I hope you can help as new to using WordPress and working very slowly to get it all right.

I am trying to setup WC Vendors at the moment. It does not seem to do what I ask. It is me doing something wrong I know.

The issue I am having is when I apply for a vendor profile through my guest account it says that it has been submitted but when I log in to see my users, there is no pending vendor.

Could someone please advise. It is probably something simple but I have no idea what to do

I have searched to see if I can find this issue in another post but no luck.
    Thanks Danny

    Danny,
First, would you please share your WooCommerce System Status? wp admin > woocommerce > system status
Also, please try resetting the vendor & pending vendor roles: wp admin > woocommerce > system status > tools > reset WC Vendors roles

When you login as admin, and go to wp admin > users… is there a link up at the top that says pending vendor?
In your WC Vendors settings (wp admin > woocommerce > WC Vendors > General) do you have these two boxes checked:
    – Allow users or guests to apply to become a vendor
    – Approve vendor applications manually

Are you directing the users to the /my-account/ page to apply to become a vendor?

    Danny,
Are you trying to add products as a vendor when this happens?
Check to see if you have allowed the vendor the capability: wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > capabilities
this should be checked: Submit products

Also, please do reply with your WooCommerce System Status:
wp admin > woocommerce > system status

    Hi Anna,

I am logging in a different account not admin. I have checked submit products and that’s fine

only when I try and add new product it just send me back to my home page. I have no idea why this keeps happening.

    Thanks again

    Danny

    Danny,
I am sorry- I don’t know why I had told you to reset the roles again- you had already been advised to do that and did notify me that helped with one issue.
Ok– please try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and WC Vendors. This allows us to check and see if there is a plugin conflict.

Test and see if you are able to list products.

If not, would you pass along an admin password & login in a private reply- and I can take a look.

Yep– WC Vendors Pro 😉 https://www.wcvendors.com/product/wc-vendors-pro/

Now you have to one-by-one reactivate your plugins to find the one that was causing the issue. then you’ll know.

its mainly going to be digital downloads sold here to so if a vendor adds a product would they be able to just show a preview only
