    Hello,

    1. Is there a way for vendors to pay a monthly or yearly fee to have a shop on my website?
    2. Can registered user pay in advance to post individual product?

    In both cases there would be no commission.

    Thanks

    You can do annual/monthly/daily/weekly/whatever Vendor Memberships now, it’s just not part of WC Vendors, it’s third party plugins.

    1.) Install Groups ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/groups/ )

    2.) Purchase and install Groups for WooCommerce ( http://www.woothemes.com/products/groups-woocommerce/ )

    3.) Create a product that assigns them a group, and restrict access to the Vendor Dashboard only to those groups. You can set a time duration for their membership, but not restrict them to to the number of products they can add.

    @sidalex

    That’s a nice looking plugin. I’ve never used it before, so I cant say if it will work. I HAVE used Groups before, and KNOW groups works for the time memberships. The plugin you referenced on CC looks to be much nicer, so it’s your $27 if you want to give it a try and let us know 🙂

    @ben What i was looking for is :

    1) Admin will create Subscription plans at back-end and set Plan Price.

    2) Subscription Area on Vendors Dashboard :
    from where vendors can upgrade or downgrade their subscription plans & see their current plan status.

    3) Vendors list with Subscription plans in Admin Backend:
    Admin can view list of vendors with their current plan and recurring payments.

    4) Payments :
    Payments will set manually by admin as vendors will pay via cash/cheque.

    but unfortunately no plugin to match this requirement 🙁

    Yea, I’m not sure of any plugins that integrate like that. Search around, you never know. But I have no idea. 🙂

    Hello,

    Here’s me again 🙂
    What do you thin about this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-frontend/ or https://wedevs.com/products/plugins/wp-user-frontend-pro/
    It says in FAQ for Subscription Features:

    Yes, WP User Frontend has built in subscription features and you can specify the number you want to allow for each post type for each package.
    Suppose you are making a subscription pack for $30 and you can allow the user to make 30 blog posts, 10 product submission and 20 order for 1 month.

    Could this plugin work with WC Vendors?

    Thanks

    WPUF could work. But then you’d have to create custom front end forms with their plugin just to use them, eliminating the Vendor Dashboard. It doesnt restrict anything on the back end.

    OK. Thank you. I’ll work on it.

    Paid Membership Pro :

    Integrated with WP User Frontend….but im little bit confused if it will overwrite WC Vendor role to membership level.

    Hello again,

    I think with WPUF it can be solved subscription issue, for now. But I am still looking for a solution for a product inquiry form with possibility of sending enquiry to seller (instead of site owner).
    I have checked many of them (included Woo Product Enquiry Form) but currently they do not have that possibility.
    Please do you have any suggestion?

    Thanks

    http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-enquiry-form/

    Install this, and WC Vendors will automatically detect it and reroute inquiries to the vendor, not the site owner.

    Sorry to bring up this old thread again, but can you tell me how to set up groups for wc vendors?

    I have subscriptions and groups from woo themes. I have created a subscription product, but do not know what roles to assign to a group to allow them to be a vendor.

    Thanks Ben and Jamie.

    @jasdeep — Assuming you mean Itthinx Groups and Groups for WooCommerce, one free, one paid plugin. You’d create a group, let’s call it “SubscribedVendor” in Groups. Edit the Vendor Dashboard or Pro Dashboard page and in the Groups meta box, only allow the “SubscribedVendor” group to access the page.

    For the subscription product you have that your vendors use to buy their vendor subscription, upon purchase, grant them access to the group “SubscribedVendor”.

    You would probably want to set, in WC Vendors, that all vendors are approved automatically, too. Then, as soon as someone pays you for their vendor access via your subscription product, they can access the Vendor Dashboards immediately.

    That’s it! Really rather simple, takes just a few minutes to do.

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for your response. I was able to do everything correctly, however, when someone purchases the subscription. It grants them access to the “SubscribedVendor” group, but the role is still set to customer. I need to manually change the role to vendor. Is there a way for the role to change to vendor automatically once someone purchases the subscription product?

    Thanks

    Hi guys. I have found this thread and prefer to write here.

    Did you resolve your problems with subscriptions? Do you have running subscriptions in yours webs?

    I would appreciate your information.

    I have purchased Wc Vendors Pro + Groups (free) + Woocommerce Subscriptios and Groups for Woocommerce (Woothemes Plugin).

    Today, I know that Groups (free) + Woocommerce Subscriptios and Groups for Woocommerce (Woothemes Plugin) work fine, but I need an answer for some questions that are very important to work with subscriptions. Perhaps, at the present date you have resolved them:

    1) Subscription plugin: As I say, I have purchased Woocommrece Subscriptions (Woothemes guys). I think this is one of the most complete plugin for this, BUT, although I have all configured, It allow Upgrade, Downgrade, Recurring,…

    2) Permissions: This issue can be solved with Groups (free) + Groups for Woocommerce (Woothemes Plugin). It is necessary to give permissions depending of the subscription package purchased. It is possible to create Gold, Silver, Bronze…groups.

    3) Hide “Add to cart” buttons on all products, even Cart icon and checkout if needed: There are some Catalog mode plugins that can be checked in Google and in YouTube. Normally, with subscriptions Admin doesn’t want to allow to vendors selling products in his web, so there are not sales commissions.

    4) To replace “add to cart button” for another like “request an inquiry” or similar, i have read in this post that we can use an “Inquiry plugin (Woothemes guys)”.

    All i have written would be perfect, but there is a big problem. And this problem is the reason for i have not done a real check. ¿Why?: Payment Getaways.

    5) Payments gateways:

    – Actually, Paypal Standard doesn’t allow paying subscriptions. It is necessary to ask to Paypal that they enable “Reference Transactions” feature. I have asked it by email several times and, at the present day, I have no answer.

    – Braintree gateway (Paypal + Credit card integration): Because of I don’t want to lose the possibility of to use Paypal and because I have read that this gateway allow Advanced Subscriptions, yesterday I found “Braintree gateway plugin (woothemes)”. This gateway allows work with subscriptions and to pay via Paypal and credit cards too.

    Please, if you have more information about Subscriptions, Payments Gateways or others plugis, share it. I think we can together, find a settling or solution for that.

    Best Regards.

    David

    David:

    I dont know how Groups works with Subscriptions. You’re in unsupported territory here. We dont write any of those plugins.

    1.) See above

    2.) Is this a question or astatement?

    3.) See #2

    4.) See #2

    5.) You can create code that would force certain products to use certain gateways. There’s also plugins for this.

    As for finding the solution, this is all you man. This isnt WC Vendor, this is you customizing your site. 😉

    Yes, Ben, of course. I know that you dont write that plugins.

    I really would like reading some advice and to know the opinion of other users who could be in my situation. Information is power! ☺
    I really apreciate very, very much your effort, your time and your suggestions.

    5) Please. Could you say to me whats plugins do that,if you know someone? Or what key i have to use to searh in google?

    Thank you very much, Ben.

    Best regards.

    David.

    Joshia,
    I do not use Groups… do you have both groups and woocommerce groups?
    I think you need woocommerce groups also to be able to sell groups access.
    Vendor capabilities are shown here:
    `’assign_product_terms’ => true,
    ‘edit_products’ => true,
    ‘edit_product’ => true,
    ‘edit_published_products’ => false,
    ‘manage_product’ => true,
    ‘publish_products’ => false,
    ‘read’ => true,
    ‘upload_files’ => true,
    ‘view_woocommerce_reports’ => true,`

    but I do not know why you would need to know that for the groups…

    If you’re trying to create a membership site with groups and woocommerce groups, this is Ben’s info quoted from earlier in this thread:

    You can do annual/monthly/daily/weekly/whatever Vendor Memberships now, it’s just not part of WC Vendors, it’s third party plugins.

    1.) Install Groups ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/groups/ )

    2.) Purchase and install Groups for WooCommerce ( http://www.woothemes.com/products/groups-woocommerce/ )

    3.) Create a product that assigns them a group, and restrict access to the Vendor Dashboard only to those groups. You can set a time duration for their membership, but not restrict them to the number of products they can add.

    Search the forums here and you will find several other methods that user have put together to create a subscription based site with wc vendors.

    Hi there I need a solution for this: I m building a multi vendor site. But buyers should pay directly to vendors not to site admin. So buyer on checkout page should see vendor’s bank IBAN nunmber to pay, or credit card payment option, so buyer’s payment directly goes to that product’s vendor. So how can I achieve that?
    (I will charge vendors manually by paper agreements to be on my site so no need for subsriptions for now until a decent developer develops a decent multi vendor plugin fulfills a real life requirement. Not every site admin wants every purchase’s payment on his bank account to pay lots of tax. Many site admins wants just a B2B, dropshipper style marketplace sites, so buyers can directly pay to seller).
