I have a fresh install of wordpress. trying to get wc vendors to load but it throws the error that it doesn’t have a valid header. What should I do to fix?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Delete it and reinstall it. Your download of the plugin was corrupted……….

    Cheers

    Ben,

I tried that. I deleted it using the Admin feature in WP and using the file manager. Downloaded it from WordPress.org site as well.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks for the help,

    Daniel

Thats……..weird………… Login via ftp and delete /wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/*.* and then upload the plugin manually by unzipping it, and uploading the wc-vendors directory to the plugins folder. Let me know if this helps.

Awesome. I have no idea why you got that error, usually it’s a corrupted file. If it was a big problem for others, we’d have a thousand forum posts here. Perhaps we’ll just chalk it up to “Hrm, weird” and leave it for now. 🙂 Glad all is installed. Have fun.

Just as an FYI – this happened to me too today on a fresh install but when I reloaded the plugins page WC Vendors was in the list and I activated it and it was fine.

Same problem here with fresh install. It only occurs if I activate the plugin immediately after it’s downloaded.

    Hello,

I wonder if this has anything to do with the repo, is anyone able to test downloading the zip file and activating from github instead of the wordpress repo?

That way I can check if its something that is through all our code or something the repo might be doing.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello Ben,
Yesterday I transferred my website to a new domain url on BlueHost, I used Duplicator Plugin, the new website is go down , I have been tried to deactivate the plugins one by one using WordPress Tools on Blue Host and the problem was from WC vendors, I deleted it, and when I am trying to install it again and activate it directly I got the same error ” The plugin does not have a valid header.” in blank page , and if activate it from the plugins list the website is go down again.

I hope you can tell me what to do ,

    Regards,
    Mousa

That’s pretty weird, it does have a valid header, of course. 🙂 Deactivate everything except WooCommerce. Install WC Vendors Free, then Pro. Then, activate other plugins *after* that.

    Hi Ben,
I contacted with Bluehost Developers and they solve me that problem, they say that problem in the core files of wordpress in their host, and this problem Happens from time to time,

    Thanks for your time,

I also got this on a fresh install today. As others have done it went away after I refreshed before activating..only to be replaced with:
Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent

I know in other posts you’ve suggested this was due to whitespace and recommended deactivating plugins, but that did not fix things for me, which is why I made a fresh install. Only wordpress, woocommerce and wc vendors activated, and using twenty sixteen theme, yet the error is still there.
