    Hi,
I am thinking of changing themes, and bought this: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ecommerce/

I noticed however that the Seller info tab is not showing in single product view, and the store name displays on the single product view instead of the vendor shop. http://104.131.78.128/shop/black-loose-turtleneck-top/

I asked the theme developers and they say I should ask the plugin team, so here I am.

Also when WC vendors is active page titles disappear, like in SHOP page on top of the products it does not display “Shop”.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Do you have a file called /wp-content/themes/YOURTHEME/woocommerce.php in the parent theme or child theme?

I am using child-theme and it does not have woocommerce.php
I did see one in the parent theme.
    Is that bad?

Saw your replies on a similar topic here in the forum….Ugh…sucks…
I’ll get the theme devs to look into it.

    Thanks Ben!

    One more off topic.
SSl shows sha384 is that good for the new PayPal? from a quick search it seemed that bigger is better, but not sure if it has to be precisely 256 or anything larger is OK?

Yup, that’s super bad. It means your theme guy sucks, and he just hacked his theme to make it partially WooCommerce compatible.

    http://docs.woothemes.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/

Note: When creating woocommerce.php in your themeโ€™s folder, you will not be able to override the woocommerce/archive-product.php custom template as woocommerce.php has priority over archive-product.php. This is intended to prevent display issues.

In otherwords, you will be unable to customize the shop pages and use any hooks and filters on them, and about 1/2 to 2/3 of WooCommerce plugins will provide you with problems because of the theme not being fully WooCommerce compatible.

If the theme guy cant fix his theme and actually do the work to make it truly WooCommerce compatible, you’ll need to switch themes.
