NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi there!

    I’m looking to make a marketplace and have been looking at your pro plugin for sometime. I’m basically decided on it but now I’ve been researching themes that work well with it.

    I know that all WooCommerce compatible themes should work, but I’ve read some issues that I’d like to avoid beforehand. I have experience with WordPress and basic Woo, but that’s about it. No coding at all.

    Any suggestions other than the ones on listed under Themes? The Social Marketplace one is interesting but after reading some not-so-good reviews, I’m hesitating. Also read about the Kleo theme?

    I only have three main criteria:

    – Selling mostly digital products, with some physical
    – Appearance is (very!) important for me – and the ability to customize it easily
    – Available and timely support

    Any thoughts?

    Also – if I read correctly, you’ll have more shipping flexibility coming in the next update right =)?

    I realize you’ve answered this in some threads before (I know to avoid Divi!), but if you have any off the top of your head, that would be a great help.

    It is tough to suggest themes, as each person will have different needs- and, we cannot test all themes.

    If the social aspect (buddypress) is not hugely important to you, then the BuddyBoss Social Marketplace may be a bit more than you need for your site. It is also challenging to customize. Support is not so good, unfortunately. Once it is all working it is cool, though.

    Kleo is a very pretty theme and easily customizable. I have used it with WC Vendors Pro and it does work fine. Support is good from SeventhQueen.

    Avada is a HUGE theme (seriously– by itself without plugins it is almost 7500 KB) but it seems to work well with WC Vendors Pro and is very customizable.

    Klein is another theme that I have tested and it works well also.

    The trouble occurs with any theme when they override the WooCommerce archive-product page which makes out store banners and icons not show properly; also if they use the woocommerce.php hack to make it woocommerce compatible instead of properly overriding the pages.

    We will have more shipping options in Pro v1,4,0 (soon!).

    I didn’t click notify by email so I didn’t realize you had replied. Leaning towards Kleo!

    Any idea of when the next update should be ready (those shipping options are gold!).

    I’m really looking forward to working with your plugin. Finishing up a project and should be right on it.

    Excited about the upcoming shipping options. Extremely excited, in fact! With that, I’ll be all set! Countdown until its release…
