Are there any problems with upgrade plugin from FREE to PRO ? I just want to start develop and check Your plugin so I don’t want to pay for PRO version on start. Will be there some bugs when I upgrade it?

Hi Michael,

It’s really actually pretty easy. You keep Free activated and running. Then, you install and activate Pro. Done. 🙂

You’d want to configure the new settings in wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors as Pro adds a pile of new tabs to add and customize things. And of course, you’d then point vendors to /dashboard/ for the Pro Dashboard, rather than /vendor_dashboard/ which is the Free Dashboard.

Will there be bugs? Well hell, there’s always *something* to fix. 🙂 We do that in a timely fashion and push releases out as needed. Pro (and Free) are constantly being developed, they are the only plugins we make.

I have the free version already setup with payment gateway and everything. When updating to the PRO version, already purchased, will overwrite all the settings? Will I loose the information?

Hello Luis,
No- nothing will be lost.
You do NOT deactivate or remove WC Vendors (free) at all. The two plugins run simultaneously.
You will have a few new fields and settings to configure. But all of the info from WC Vendors is still there, and is used in Pro also. 🙂
