NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    User can still edit product even when this capability is turned off. If they are on the dashboard and they click on a product or click, view all then they are into the main product control area…

    Try toggling the setting and saving it each time. Sometimes the settings can get stuck.

    wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > Capabilities –

    [X] Submit products
    [ ] Edit live products
    [ ] Submit products live without requiring approval

    Are those your settings? If not, that’s what they need to be. Just tested on our development server and all the permissions for these are working perfectly….. let me know!

    Hey Ben,

    I have the correct settings. In the dashboard the top bar does not have the ‘Add Product’ button. But the user can still click a product in the list, or click view all. I have saved my permalinks again and you can still click a product link but the page cannot be found.

    Image attached, Do you see the blue hyperlinks to the products? They shouldn’t be links?

    Aaah, now it all makes sense. Thanks much for that last screenshot. I can confirm this is a bug — we’ll have it patched up as quickly as possible. Sorry about that.
